04/10/2021 11:33 | And Goldbug you think their corp governance is flawless do you? If it were, if the mkt wasn’t concerned, the shares would be much higher. Why do you think they trade at such an enormous discount to intrinsic value? | andycapp1
04/10/2021 09:09 | Because he has flouted good governance continually; look I don’t disagree OPG is cheap relative to cashflows/intrinsic value but that gap won’t close because there is no tension. Institutions won’t buy it. It’s coal and you are buying into a minority where your likely only tension or value realisation is a take private at value unknown but certainly not intrinsic value or indeed a premium. | andycapp1
02/10/2021 09:36 | Your stains on Gupta’s character are unfounded and I would have thought possibly even risky for you, given libel laws etc. The fact of the matter is that Gujarat has killed this business. The debt hangover relates to Gujarat is still in an ‘optics’ issue given that Chennai cash flows went to finance Gujarat for some years until they pulled the plug on that. | the original goldbug
02/10/2021 09:13 | andy Firstly I agree never trust anybody. But why do you hate this guy so much. What has give you grounds to turn him into the arch criminal that will run off with company on the cheap, btw I know it happens I'm still trapped in Oct and he is a crook. | dave4545
01/10/2021 16:36 | at these levels he hasn't got to find a lot of money | chalky
01/10/2021 16:16 | Trouble is when the debt is cleared then what? You are utterly beholden to Gupta who can do what he wants. My guess has always been that he degears it then takes it private at nominal premium. He could use threat of delisting leaving shareholders stranded. So you can conjecture all you want but simple fact is you have no say. Over anything! | andycapp1
01/10/2021 14:58 | £10k buys keep coming and so is the seller by the looks of thing 12.8-12.997p online nice spread. | dave4545
01/10/2021 14:51 | I'd prefer clearing the debt to any tiny dividend that makes little difference to the bank account. Just think andy, they were down to around £15 mil net debt, by now they might have cleared it all as it's 6 months since those numbers yesterday, all that cash flowing into the bank next year, might get bumper dividends. Yes the coal prices are soaring but I think that will be offset by the extra profits from the increasing turnover again. Good to have both way views. | dave4545
01/10/2021 14:45 | But: It’s coal and no institution wants coal It’s track record is simply dire and despite your “amazing profits” assertion no dividend which is pathetic You are a distant minority in a minority with wretched governance So why buy it? | andycapp1
01/10/2021 08:08 | 12.69p for size at the open Wonder how many the seller has, certainly creating great value entry for today's buyers assumming we will have a lot of nibbles. | dave4545
30/9/2021 18:08 | At least we know why it did not move much today. 450k, 250k and 100k sales at 12.5p When the seller is out completely it will motor, until then everybody buying gets the best bargain on the market. There will not be another stock close to these numbers. | dave4545
30/9/2021 16:18 | 12.66p offer now Incredible eh. If I kicked a can over and a genie popped out yesterday and told me OPG would announced £21.6 mil profits and net debt slashed £35 mil+ I'd have went for possibly the top % riser today and at least 30% rise It's went from 12.25p offer best price to current 12.555p bid | dave4545
30/9/2021 15:19 | 12.8p offer now Clearly a overhang today because there's hardly been a sale all day and most of the volume is buying. | dave4545
30/9/2021 12:14 | Of course. This is mental, this is what is wrong with these markets now. You get some stupid tech stock turning over say a million, losing a few million burning millions and it's worth the same as this. I cannot believe you can still buy for 13p atm | dave4545
30/9/2021 12:11 | hopefully dave but capitalised at c.£50m per advfn and nearly debt free, chucking off this sort of cash and EBITDA, should this not be 20-30p of value at least? DYOR Cheers QS99 | qs99
30/9/2021 10:08 | KS Broker has forecast 2022 turnover to recover a little to £110 mil from £93.5 mil that was forecast for today's results So perhaps the increase there will offset any increase in coal prices. | dave4545
30/9/2021 09:19 | Great results, but how will they be getting on at current coal prices - thoughts? | king suarez
30/9/2021 09:04 | Have also added more fwiw.https://www.pro | tole
30/9/2021 08:30 | I'm in total shock the mm's are allowing people to buy size at 12.3p levels. I just assumed it would be north of 15p by now. What a incredible value stock. If it's a overhang then take advantage because when it clears this will race up and have a strong run for a week before it starts to drift again. Medium term it should be 25-30p | dave4545
30/9/2021 07:49 | Yes, looks like the debt will be cleared this coming year. Lots of upside from these levels. | igoe104
30/9/2021 07:07 | Jeez just how amazing are those results on that drop in turnover. | dave4545 |
