Hi all,
I'm fairly new to Open Orphan, having bought in at the wrong time!
I've got some long dated (September) Spreadbets in ORPH, and wondered if anyone here has had experience of what happens If they issue a dividend?
TiA,
John

m5, I believe you over estimate the average investor otherwise the blatantly obvious de rampers you see on most BB’s would not exist. They are there to disrupt at the margins.

As Pougue suggest above the intensity is often a good sign, we have something worth fighting about.

I doubt we will get shorters mate. You would have to be brain dead. The Chart is good and anyone that does even 10 minutes of research will know the newsflow coming our way. If they want to though, bring it on because they will have to close and that will add to a nice push.

The closer we come to a disposal RNS the more the shorters will appear. The same here when news is due we get a new halfwit trying to convince us ORPH is going down. To be fair the early ones started trying to actually argue a case a few months ago, Hamid, but now we are reduced to types like 12toes as nobody has a sensible argument why a services company that refuses to take on debt even to expand, we use customers to pay even for challenge study models and clinics, is going to go down when revenues are rising due to us being having a worldwide monopoly on challenge studies.
I look forward to someone with a valid point on why this company is going down apart from the short term effect of uninformed sellers/traders reducing the price.

At the moment the chart suggest that there is duplication in the way the share moves. We haven't broken the cycle yet.

I don't think that make a jot of difference. Those invested know the reasons why they are invested. They have done their homework, they are not going to be swayed by some BS on twitter, if they are then more fool them. Those that trade do so based on momentum and pre-defined price targets. We have spoken about sellers because we have had or have a large one, it is what it is. Again if you have done your homework, whilst being annoying, it does not reflect where the business is, or indeed where it is going.

Has anyone considered the talk about sellers are mostly people want to build a position in ORPH having.

Look at Twitter right now, last night someone posted some really poor technical analysis suggesting a shorting opportunity. I can’t believe it is a genuine shorter, feels like it is just plant to sow doubt. The chart looks very strong to me personally. There seems to be a lot of people wanting ORPH lower, funny that....

I know. That's a non sequitur if it's a response to my post.

People buy people sell without them there would be no market.

Why is it 'probably Invesco selling'. I'd say at best the recent 2 day drip is 'possibly' Invesco selling', but that is not supported by any evidence. The only evidence we have from the rns is that Invesco sold some on Monday and before. During that time the price rose 25%. On Tuesday when the rns was published there is no evidence Invesco sold ( they may have done, they may not have done). So all we have evidence for is that the price appreciate a lot during Invesco sales, yet fell quickly when investors were informed of those sells. The evidence is the well managed Invesco sells can be made and the price still rise, and the price drops when that info hits the market, i.e. the price drop is due to pis selling not Invesco. That's what the evidence supports.Further evidence will be the price rising quickly as those pi sellers by back in, which is a pretty regular observation.Pis are making market makers and brokers quite rich.

Whilst trawling the Open Orphan website for the latest video, which I couldn’t find by the way, I looked at the Press Pack and in it I found various stock images but there was a name that was new to me.

Danny Smith - Director of Volunteer Engagement & Retention

A good sign that this is recognised as worthy of director status.

CF said it would be on the website today. He probably needs to find time to rerecord the echoed bit before uploading.

Has the link to last nights presentation come out yet? I missed it but keen to catch on it as it sounds like Cathal shared a lot more this time round.

Has anyone got a link to CF's presentation last night where the sound had a bit of an echo part way through as I want to watch it again and also as the man said there are longer videos inside their operations

Thanks in advance

Thanks arab3, that's exactly the message I had earlier in the week, so thought I would keep trying and today it worked, started with a small £10 per point this afternoon, and will increase tomorrow if I can.

I can't really put anymore in my ISA's as I try to stay balanced and ORPH is a bit too overweight

Hope you can get some on a spreadbet tomorrow, if I can't I am going to go to Spreadex to try
