So listening to the Q&A bit again (starting about 48 minutes in) on the non-core assets he talks about getting one of the 3 away in the not too distant future and the other 2 following not long thereafter - so that does sound like it is not the 6-12 month interval that he talked about in the presentation section. So perhaps he was thinking of creating new SpinCos every 6-12 months once the first 3 assets have gone.

And in the same Q&A bit on the immune modulator he finishes with "watch that space in the not too distant future". So the choice of words, echoing the earlier bit, does sound like it might be the first to be announced - which I agree was the spin he seemed to be giving on the previous presentation.

The 6 to 12 months disposals comments were confusing however I dont think they apply simply because the Immutex float seems to be out of our hands and with Seek the majority holder with CF giving rubber stamp to whatever they do, so long as its acceptable, but they seem to be on the same page.

Decent week. Another great presentation from CF, he is not bad at them is he? LOL!! Chart wise, above that 28p, held, consolidated, and then up a smidge today. 31P is the big one, so hopefully we can get past that next week.

Not sure if he meant the current non core assets would be spun off every 6 to 12 months, I took it he meant there would be other non core assets developed by those working at Orph on different projects and that they could be spun off in the future.

Good presentation again, with the $1bn market cap target firmly established (with or without counting the value of the spin-offs - I think notionally with but it wasn't entirely clear to me).

One thing he did do as I heard it was fairly severely re-calibrate expectations on the timing of the spin-offs. I heard it as the first one to be announced in a month to 6 weeks, and then every 6 to 12 months or so spin off a newco (i.e. one of the others). I had previously thought all 3 of the initial non-core assets could be coming up for monetisation imminently. However, it sounded like we might have a series of Disease in Motion licensing agreements to keep the excitement levels high while waiting for the next spin-off. And definitely potential in China, although again it sounded like it might take a bit of time to land something there.

On destination, I heard probably Imutex to Nasdaq and the other 2 to AIM. It sounded like ORPH's Imutex asset might well end up part of a joint float/reverse with Seek's ConserV - I think I heard him playing up the value of the Imutex assets in ConserV and playing down the value of the other (earlier, pre-clinical) assets.

Did anyone hear the expected timing of the monetisation events differently?

CF's remarks about influenza can't be right as according to the media there is no flu anymore as covid has got rid of it. So once covid is eradicated then there is nothing for us to do. I am of course being sarcastic.

Cheers scotty. Interesting read. CF is no doubt a go getter and extremely focused but has his feet firmly on the ground. He knows what its like to worry about money, so he will be as sure as hell looking after his, which means mine is in decent hands.
