03/2/2021 10:41 | Share price forecast | ped2323
03/2/2021 10:39 | Finncap report issued on 6-1-21, less than a month ago said ; “Open Orphan is in negotiations to secure a new quarantine facility in 2021” “Forecasts exclude potential revenue from a new quarantine facility” Very strange today’s update hasn’t increased the share price based upon increased revenues. Incompetence or intentional? GLA | ped2323
03/2/2021 10:36 | Extrader, I can't see that to be honest. Him and his family are up to their furry bits in ORPH. He has half his net worth in here and judging from his early comments I am not sure his Mrs would approve. I think half your money is enough exposure. Lazarus20103 Feb '21 - 10:22 - 11344 of 11345 Its a question for CF tonight. We know Invesco have sold down. I was told that they were keeping the other half. I was told, by ORPH, that they had buyers lined up to take the rest. Who knows, its all speculation. My own feeling is that's it more than just PI's, but that will create a big move when it stops. Again, its just an opinion. | ![]() m5
03/2/2021 10:31 | Extrader he does not want the share price to rocket up then rocket down he wants a stable rise which he believes instis give him. From what they have done so far they are more than providing stability they are holding it back! | ![]() pogue
03/2/2021 10:28 | Lazarus I am sure that question will be asked tonight | ![]() pogue
03/2/2021 10:28 | Hi all, Still trying to understand why CF might be interested in a depressed s/p. People point to his 'lock-in' ....but that is a long way off (time risk) and if accelerated by a 'monetisation event' aka M + A, I'm sure his lock-in has over-ride provisions. Maybe he just wants to buy more ORPH ? With so much going on of a 'price sensitive' nature, there must be very limited dealing opportunities for him ie when not in a closed period. Could the explanation for his apparent off-handedness re share price be as simple as : he has an outside investment or other source of capital available shortly and he's happy to see things as they are ? Occam's razor ? | ![]() extrader
03/2/2021 10:22 | can anybody find out if Invesco or others are the ones continuing to sell...might be a very strong buy signal knowing when the overhang clears? | ![]() lazarus2010
03/2/2021 10:21 | I agree it might be better if CF refrained from commenting on the shareprice for a while. But he should comment on revenue and I think it would help the market understand the company better if he could make clear(er) his assumptions. e.g. perhaps get a breakdown of FY21 revenue split as: o Contract concluded, no material conditionality. o Contract concluded but revenue subject to conditions (e.g. ethical or other regulator approval, or securing additional facility capacity). o Contract not concluded but highly likely. It is difficult for investors and brokers to interpret comments such as "QM is now close to full capacity until December 2021" if we don't know what conditionality may still be attached to various bits of that usage. | ![]() 1gw

03/2/2021 10:17 | green, He can say what he wants about the share price for me As long as it’s positive 😀 | ![]() judijudi
03/2/2021 10:09 | I would not object to a managed share buy back in lieu of (or as well as if profits allow...) a dividend. That way any large sellers can be shown the exit in an orderly fashion. Then retain the repurchased shares in treasury for any future acquisitions or cancellation to enhance EPS. | ![]() dunns_river_falls
03/2/2021 10:07 | He should not comment on share price There is no true value, the market with all its whims under and overshoots notional value at whill. | ![]() greenelf
03/2/2021 10:03 | I would love CF to say tonight that we are now undervalued and that the share price needs to catch up on our true valuation Also that deals on our non core assets are imminent We know which way our challenge studies are going it’s the other parts of the company I would love him to comment positively on It would also be good for him to have a go at Fincapp for their valuation and I also hope he gets rid of them. 03/2/2021 09:48 | i have held an overweight holding now for over 5 months, so Monday i sold £12k worth to use to buy another stock, i was a bit miffed this morning with the Rns, (still hold large) like Doh i knew this would happen, obviously no need as i have not missed anything. There will be sellers due to brokers note but there is also a seller dumping, matching sells with buys and they have been for months now, its so obvious if you study the trades, i have seen this many of time and have not been wrong to date, once this seller clears which if it is who i think then at the current volume they should be cleared in march, then this share will rise straight into early 30 territory and every bit of good news will see it rise more, Theres also one at Novacyt holding the share price from rising, with novacyt i can see why its at £8 when it should be at £14, investors look into the future and with novacyt its uncertain, New management strategy, might not work ? covid testing, for how long ? new company purchases, might be bad eggs ? as testing drops off so will the profits ? will they blow all there money once they are not as busy ? etc etc. Now with orph Different storey altogether if you look into the future, so let the week sellers sell on a broker note, just hold tight, its coming (hopefully not b4 i have bought my £12k back though) GLA | ![]() readdin
03/2/2021 09:36 | Lako, FFS don't stop posting! The posters I like and respect are those who were posting a year ago when the price was 5/6p. A year later and it's 4 times that. In a year's time it'll be 4 times again, so a quid. That for the simple reason the risk is less than a year ago, the known prospects are better and c is a year closer to being able to sell. | pierre oreilly
03/2/2021 09:18 | In the real world few companies are totally bought out They sell bits off yep for sure (which it what we are hopefully doing) But full takeovers are a very rare beast | ![]() judijudi
03/2/2021 09:13 | Lfd, yeah, but that sounds too ramplike. But that price (Yours) is my genuine view what it would sell for. The current market price is simply totally absurd. | pierre oreilly
03/2/2021 09:11 | finnCap shareprice target is what it is. But as house broker they surely have a responsibility to put out a reasonable (if slightly conservative) revenue forecast. Their current FY21 revenue forecast seems to me to be not at all consistent with the comments that CF has made on QM revenue-generation at capacity (and his comments that it is now virtually at capacity for 2021) together with today's news on the third facility utilisation and other contracts that are known about for Venn. And that's without counting anything for Covid challenge studies. | ![]() 1gw
03/2/2021 09:09 | Same old same old ... Price dropped twice this morning and some big block of sells going through ... I think we all know where this is going to go today | ![]() 12toes
03/2/2021 09:08 | mark101013 Feb '21 - 09:02 - 11323 of 11325 Take your point, HOWEVER, I don't want silly targets I just want someone to do their job in an accurate and professional way. How can you not add value after this mornings RNS. Are we doing it for nothing? We want new investors, this does not help. | ![]() m5
03/2/2021 09:07 | JH, or it is back testing 25p and does not give a monkeys about brokers notes. The market will pay much more attention so what Cathal says tonight imho. | ![]() mark10101
03/2/2021 09:07 | Think the sell down is the usual sell on the news traders. | ![]() pogue |
