29/1/2021 12:40 | 1gw I suspect they are not going to do CV19 studies outside UK they are winning lots of non CV19 challenge studies so makes sense to keep all the CV19 work in one dedicated clinic ie the Royal Free. Off course if a foreign government want us to set up a clinic I expect that would be different as all the permissions to give people a dose of attenuated CV19 would be a lot easier. | ![]() pogue
29/1/2021 12:19 | Personally I was expecting some news in January, but now I am expecting it in February on some or even all of the following: o Non-core monetisation (Imutex, PrEP, immune modulator) o Data licensing o Regulator approval of Covid challenge studies o Third facility and initial contracts for studies using it o Further Covid characterisation studies (China or other governments) o Fourth facility? On the facilities, it could be that UK regulator approval of covid challenge studies is taking longer than expected and Orph doesn't want to commit to further facilities (even outside the UK) before they get the go-ahead to do a challenge study in the UK. I wonder also if the new variants of covid are causing a delay - might they want to redo the characterisation study to set up challenge studies using one or more of the new variants rather than the initial strain? | ![]() 1gw
29/1/2021 11:30 | not getting too hopeful but surely we expect firm news in Q1 on health data AND imutex? | ![]() jambam

29/1/2021 10:53 | Hi all, I hope CF can tone down his enthusiastic delivery for Mello and let the hard info do the talking. There are a number of heavyweight/well-con ATB | ![]() extrader
29/1/2021 10:49 | These hedge funds go after any stock they feel they can make a killing and tough to the private investor. Dont like it up-em comes to mind | ![]() malcolmmm
29/1/2021 10:47 | I see that the US stock market regulators closed down the Reddit app that private investors use for buying/selling stock because Gamestop and a mining stock rose 700% recently putting at risk the hedge funds shorting these stocks. 120% of the Gamestop stock was shorted by the hedge funds. Gamestop fell but rose after hours. imo that is not on. | ![]() malcolmmm
29/1/2021 09:54 | The Mello shambles is a nice little reminder of why I don't listen to 'experts' Do your own research people. Don't rely on ill prepared and poorly researched suits to do it for you. | lako42
29/1/2021 09:33 | I subscribed to Stocko for awhile, they are very good but they do get quite a lot wrong like everyone else. some very wrong | ![]() malcolmmm
29/1/2021 09:29 | Bought some this morning but non available online at the moment. Sold some of another holding to raise funds. | ![]() malcolmmm
29/1/2021 09:19 | Still being classed (Edit associated) with Covid stocks is my take but that's if your a trader of course. The nagging thought of our seller still around does not help. Anyway, very strong support at these levels and not surprising with circa £20 million in the bank and no debt gives an easy nights sleep as a holder. | ![]() marvelman
29/1/2021 09:19 | Not surprised CF has elected to appear at the Mello event in February. Their online discussion last Monday where ORPH was discussed by four guests was a smorgasbord of ill informed and poorly researched ‘expert’ opinion, relying in the main of a Stockopedia screenshot of financial information as their main source of reference. Worst £12.00 I’ve spent this year and won’t be spending again with Mello after CF has appeared. | ped2323

29/1/2021 08:34 | Mello Monday added to the investor events page. Thought CF said he was going to be doing less of these presentations. Let's hope he has something new to say.https://www.open | ![]() gregb
28/1/2021 20:24 | O/T And I managed to sneak in and out with a quick 1 bag. Looks like the hedge funds are starting to win... First time I've traded in USA! | ![]() soggy
28/1/2021 19:55 | GameStop rose 69% on Friday, it was the most shorted stock on the US market but private investors kept it rising causing huge problems with the shorting hedge funds. | ![]() malcolmmm
28/1/2021 16:52 | You had some big games played in the market yesterday in USA. One hedge fund went to the wall and a few had major margin calls. Basic Hedge funds were shorting a company at around $50 and in a very short space of time the price was sent to over £300 high losses. One or 2 hedge funds are still holding hoping prices come back to normal. There were a few stocks where that happened and reports it may have started in Europe. | mikeafud1
28/1/2021 15:43 | problem is not the company, problem is the markets...and timing...when will this mini crash end? Has the extension of the lockdown caused it? Yes stocks affected by the lockdown should be dropping, but surely ORPH are just getting caught up in the whirlpool as it heads down the drain? Anyway took a few more today, better spread, got 23.85, tuck 'em away until CF makes his announcement re wearables / imutex etc gl all | ![]() lazarus2010
28/1/2021 12:25 | Six months from year end. If an AIM company wants to take advantage of the temporary 3 month Covid extension then it would have to apply, via their Nomad, prior to the reporting deadline and advise the market. No doubt CF will give us an update on Wednesday. GLA. | ![]() gregb |
