A good short imo is Gamestop for the very brave.
Invesco I would think bought a substantial amount in the offer with the intention of selling some for profit anyway and to to offset risk on the remainder.

Apparently we've been advised that the big seller has stopped dumping so there must have been one bozo

If you believe the correspondence we had from ORPH, and I see no reason not to, then Invesco are done and want to keep their remaining shares. Do you see value at this level or don't you, that's the question.

Why aren't they dumping today then? Todays price is higher than when we had an RNS that they supposedly dumped into.

When do you think you'll know what the big seller is up to?

Who is the big seller btw?

When you say we'll be back in the same position again, do you mean 6p (when there really was a big seller, known from subsequent rnss), or 12p (ditto) or 24p (where we don't yet know there's a big seller)?

I'm holding off buying any more shares until I know what this big seller is up to.Are they waiting for good news and then continue dumping into any buying activity ? If so we're back to the same position again

I think the price rise is more about excitement for cathals first interview in a while, all the rumours and news circulating, and the chance for a morning RNS prior to said interview

Yes it's frustrating watching other shares rise while ORPH has remained in such a tight range for so long. To avoid some of that frustration I have held 85% of my holdings in ORPH with 15% in and out of other stocks.

Lost on some but mostly gained overall in this nervous COVID market.

With clock ticking down now on next presentation I have this morning sold my approx 15% and gone 100% in ORPH again.

Fingers crossed this strategy will not be needed going forward now!

Here's hoping for the next start of things to come!

Haven't seen any blocks being sold by the big seller today ... hence the price rise

Jeeze, we're no longer in the tech boom days where you buy anything tech and later that day you're ten grand up. We are back to something closer to normality. RNSs and the like indicate the longer term performance - things which will increase profits in the months and years ahead. Today, they are treated as something which puts the price up 1p and most sell into the rise for a tiny profit. Sit back, relax, do what c does, unless you think you are a better investor than he is. He's in it for at least another 18 months, by which time he'll be pretty rich in his orph holdings. The only thing i dislike about buying and selling for tiny profits is the posts which a small few make, switching their opinion in an attempt to manipulate the price. Pathetic really. We see that about every day, or at least every rns. (It's much worse on other boards though, we have it easy here).

No one knows whether any institution is selling or not. I doubt they are. I think there were sells up to the new year for bookeeping and bonuss. But my guess is just a guess, like everyone else's. One thing which isn't in doubt is that if or when institutions start buying, it'll be the start of months or years of rises if the company performs to current expectations. That's how to make big money, and c seems to agree.

Agreed, we all are. No one is happy to see a share price fall. However getting your purchase right all the time is impossible and patience is required to reap the rewards of your research. Hopefully we have come to the end of our drought in terms of the share price movement and we can look forward to kicking on again. It's been a while now.

Don’t feed the troll, filter was invented for this reason, I have had him filtered after his very first few posts.... Fortunately I think he is the only one I have filtered for the ORPH board which is pretty good going and long may it continue.

Judijudi, I've seen this same script on several Boards.
Folks say that they've bought a shed load, but in the same sentence tell us that they are quite happy to watch the price fall a lot more!!
I buy because I'm rather hoping that the shareprice will go whoosh!

The rns has done nothing to stem the share price slide!! There is someone doing their damn best in stopping this rising and to what end we will soon know hopefully.Cannot understand what more CF has to do to to get this motoring past 25p.

No surprises they're taking on more staff when hvivo is going from 15% clinic utilisation to 100%.Of course, if the clinic is already staffed sufficiently to cope with 100%, the lot being taken on now could be in preparation for a nearby new facility.Great to see them taking staff on 6 month contracts. The duffers can be chopped straight away and the best one or two offered a professional permie job on a professional salary. One further advantage is it's a very cheap and low risk way of getting really good permanent staff, much better than paying recruitment consultants 8 or 9 grand for unknowns.
