yes I hinted that in my post he could it a longer hold but I don't think he is that type of man he is more a serial entrepreneur than long term manager. He may consider using the sale of ORPH to start another business and do it all again or just use the divis to do that and let the company ride on without him whilst he does something else. Either way I see him gone and not wanting this to be a long term job for him. Look at his salary its not set at a value he is saying he wants to stay for him to volte face now and jack it up would be hypocritical as well.
Could be wrong just how I see the man.

Look at it any way you like. C selling orph, selling imutex, orph nas quote, imutex nas quote, wearables data sale, takeover by gates/musk/bezo/apple to get the data exclusively, normal Divi, special Divi, 50% price appreciation every 6 months, easy extra profit from new clinics, easy big profit already built in, or just good old fashioned co rapidly growing profits, the man, and probably plenty more ways ... Wherever you look here it's just a stupidly easy to see strong buy. The strongest I've ever seen. Just one of the above makes it a strong buy, two coming off equals double strong buy, 3 equals once in a lifetime, 4 5 6 7 I don't have the superlatives. Oh, and c delivers.

m5, pogue, only caveat to your comments is, for me anyway, if he was able to sell the data and imutex and the other bio one and issue special dividend totalling say 18p which was his early sale target price, then maybe he can consider Orph as a free carry!?

pogue, totally agree. This is not a long term venture for CF. He plays it down for obvious reasons but we are for sale no doubt.Whatever way you look at it we are in a very strong position and I am sure he will want to capitalise on some of the assets we have which have turned out to be a massive bonus. Sit tight and wait for the pay day, because its coming.

no both are valid Cathal Freil who is the CEO has plans to sell the company relatively quickly. It was the plan from the beginning, bolt together 2 pharma service companies take out the large overheads, get them to utilise thier client bases to cross sell to each other and get a larger company with a hole in its portfolio to buy it. hVIVO turned out to have a few bits he did not expect plus CV19 happened putting a larger value on other bits hence the disposals.
CF has a large part of his personal wealth tied up in ORPH and would want it back at some point mind you the divis may make it a longer hold but he has been quoted as saying all companies should be constantly up for sale so clearly is open to properly valued offers at any point.

Three camps.....

I'm here for the 50% share price rise every 6 months.

The other 2 are a bonus.

To support Pogue, this is an article about the vaccine mentioned which OO have a stake in.

Thanks Pogue et al for the info and opinions. There seems to be 2 camps, the first invested for divi return, the second hoping for a fast take out...

Some new posters here so the wearables is only one of the disposals that ORPH are making in the next few months another is a phase 3 ready universal flu vaccine it is the only one in the world currently after the last one failed phase 3 recently it had been bought not that long ago for circa $400million we own 49% of the one we hold so the sale of that at market value would also potentially return the value of the company in divis. If it doesn't sell it will be listed on the NASDAQ and we get shares in it when there we should realize its value pretty sharpish.
Not many shares in a fast growing company where the value of potential disposals and returns via divis exceeds the market cap lol.

Have over £20m in the bank, cash generating and profitable, debt was only 1.3 m at last accounts so well serviced. CF has stated the balance sheet is plenty for the business needs, no future dilution risk and as the pot grows will look to return to investors not take from them. He also stated reason for last dilution was that the big Pharma companies wanted to do business and they like to see you have enough cash in the bank, so in my eyes that was the right thing to do for the business and he is now landing the deals with them.
My position here is a stake of just under 200k shares that I have built up since my initial stake at 11p, I am looking to add to this position as I move out of some existing holdings as I feel at the current time the better potential for return is here. Also no exit price as I will asses this as and when I feel the business future is not as bright as it is now.

As always DYOR

Holy smoke lol But you would think they'd keep some for cash flow to have a strong balance sheet.

I bought initially at 12p then have added more as I have watched the company grow and deliver exactly what they have promised. If I'm completely honest I don't have a target. I intend to hold until we either get taken out by a big pharma company or near the date the main man Cathal Friels time at the company ends. CF has promised a 50% rise in share price every 6 months and has exceeded that. That's a pretty good return on your money. In my view it is nailed on to continue that way. When you look at all the different revenue streams and possible sell offs that this company has the potential is huge. After watching CF over the last 6 months he has given us plenty of clues as to what's in the pipe line and virtually every time he drops a hint within a short period it happens. If they don't secure the facilities in Belgium and U.S I will be very surprised. The big boys are lining up to commence challenge studies using the expertise and data ORPH possess. All in my opinion and DYOR.

Completely agree m5 Nothing worrying about price action, nice consolidation atm. When we get more details about the contract signed with the German pharma, we could move again northwards, also the other thing that would be highly positive is securing another facility for our trials, atm we are at capacity atm according to CF.

Thank you for that. What's your sell target price if you don't mind me asking..?You don't have to answer but I like to get a feel of people's perception of reality on a BB before potentially investing (or at least engaging on any serious level). Some threads can be stronger barometers for sentiment on AIM shares than others...

Current market cap at 26.65p is £177.5million. £200 million would be 30p a share. This would just be for the sale of the data for wearables and paid as special dividend to share holders. I think this scenario would suit CF as he is a major shareholder. He doesn't want a pump and dump situation here as he is tied in for another 2 years. When you think that apple have $190billion in the bank, £200million is nothing to stay one step ahead of the competition. That's one of the many reasons why I am heavily invested here and wouldn't risk trading this with the very real possibility of something as huge as mentioned above dropping at any time.

It is if you look at the market capital of ORPH and the fact you should get the current price of the share back in divis in the near future.

if Apple have $190bln in cash $500mln/£400mln is nothing to them for the data!!
