06/1/2023 08:03 | Look six months down the line and I think you will be looking at 10p - so in my book that is a very good forward looking position to be in and the value will just keep rising in TCAT imo. | clocktower
06/1/2023 07:52 | The share price has fallen back recently. I think the TU today is positive and should provide support | melody9999
06/1/2023 07:38 | Decent results but then they should be with the massive currency tailwind they have had. Slight miss in fact at EBITDA level. I think on balance I like the TCAT decision but in reality it means they couldn't get it funded at a reasonable value. Why issue on a Friday ? I don't see this as being a catalyst for a rerating at all until we see what the now material investment in TCAT might get us | harrogate
06/1/2023 07:11 | I am delighted with today’s news, the growth continues and the potential with TCAT has clearly been assessed and should in the longer term have a huge positive potential to increase the value of the company substantial. At long last the share price should start to recover this year. | clocktower
16/12/2022 14:04 | Poor company communication with investors does it no favours. | clocktower
08/12/2022 17:03 | I have far to many windows open as it is, what with graphs , my portfolio, ones I follow, new feeds - yes I should have just checked but I forget they traded on the other platforms. It's my age! :-) Cheers SD. | clocktower
08/12/2022 15:57 | clockt, you need both Aquis exchange (OMIP.GB) and LSE (OMIP) on your Monitor. | spin doctor
08/12/2022 15:36 | Well a couple of decent buys today but what is odd they do not show on my main monitor just in trades and on L2. 150k at 6.44p and I thought I would check what the greedy MM want for a small amount now and its 6.73p even though they still have 77k they got at 6.032p yesterday - trying to run it up it seems. | clocktower
08/12/2022 15:04 | At the moment the business hasn’t got a very long record of either generous dividend growth or earnings growth to make it either a safe income stock, or an exciting growth stock. It may just be that as a thinly traded small stock, it needs both of those for a couple of years to get any attention, for instance from micro funds interested in small company income opportunities. Small growth stocks are all viewed as risky at the moment, even if they’re not, so a rush of new investors might only take place when some publicity about both income and capital growth gets into the limelight. A widely used TCAT with associated publicity might galvanize it. At least it would be a USP. Investment in podcasts took off over covid. Anti-piracy software should surely get some interest at some point. | yump
08/12/2022 12:32 | Thanks for the link Spin doctor - I should point out that to listen to it you should go to around 1.21.00 in the broadcast. | clocktower
08/12/2022 11:35 | Merck Mercuriadis features in a 5 minute piece on R4 Today programme, 7.20-7.25am today, on iPlayer: Interviewer summarises - final few words - as 'streaming doing well but investors unconvinced'! OMIP rights purchasing has been far more selective and disciplined than SONG, IMHO. | spin doctor
08/12/2022 10:44 | Since my last post I was going through recent trades and I noticed there was a large sell after hours last evening timed at 18.25.28 for 277,111 shares @ 6.032. So the MM are sitting on a fair amount of stock as decency chunks are being sold off, which does not give one great confidence about the business and will we hear more about TCAT. | clocktower
08/12/2022 10:44 | double post error. | clocktower
08/12/2022 10:34 | I agree Harrogate but did we as a company over pay to purchase the content, as the market is saying we did, based on the share price However, I see there has been a buy but I still cannot sell 10000 online through my broker but the offer has now risen to 6.44p so even though the MM took on board 80k the other day or so at 6.25p they are trying to increase their margin. Still neither here nor there until we get a statement from the company, and when that will be is anyone's guess. | clocktower
08/12/2022 10:06 | I don't think we will be raising money at this price or below ( or anything like this price ) given we are buying content at over 11x NPS of royalty but the market is valuing our content at less than 5 times, it would be like buying 50p pieces with £ notes. I am sure MI is fully aware of that. All the content we have bought in last 2/3 years is valued at sub 50% of what we paid for it. I am not sure how we get the price moving but fundraising at this price is not it | harrogate
08/12/2022 09:25 | Spin doctor they cannot say anything that would break the rules, so rather than try to assume anything from having a chat with him, I believe it is rather pointless. I know that online I can only sell 5000 shares at a little over 6.25 but they are not offering online prices through my broker for even 10000 shares but happy to sell a large number at 6.37p so at the moment it leaves me wondering why there has been not statement to date. Are they about to raise more funds for another purchase? | clocktower
08/12/2022 09:24 | SONG looking perky on the back of results today. ~50% share price discount to the claimed 'operative NAV'. States that implies an 'excessive discount rate of 12%'. Note '>10 year catalogue proforma annual revenue up 7.7%'. That's in dollar terms. | spin doctor
07/12/2022 20:45 | Reasonable comments above. Remember that the CEO is very receptive to PIs - prospective or current - wishing to speak. That gives an opportunity to raise the issues/questions/con What's not to lose? | spin doctor
07/12/2022 11:36 | Question is - Why no update? The communication with PI's is totally lacking imo. While I continue to hold, unless there is very good news I can see these dropping further as there is so little volume and interest in the stock, even though it provides a steady stream of earnings. How low before we see support step in 5/6p ? | clocktower
06/12/2022 18:10 | Looking back, full year earnings last time were 0.24p and the first half of this year came in at 0.19p. That should be a fairly startling growth rate for the full year, although playing catchup a bit with 2020. That should mean the gearing of profit to revenue might catch a bit of someone's attention. They spend 800K last year on TCAT. That had better result in something that shows the potential of earning a multiple of that. Pretty soon please. There is substantial dividend cover as well - upping the div substantially might do something for the share price. Seeing as NAV is being quoted now - concentrating on income growth is important. | yump
06/12/2022 16:44 | Sale must have been from a bored holder. There is no liquidity so a sale of less than £4k has knocked the market cap down disproportionately. Lets hope for some good news as it can also go back up very quickly. | the shuffle man
06/12/2022 16:21 | Big sell off today and below what was the offer I noticed. Lack of news being the issue I expect. We might hit new lows before long as bored investors exit. | clocktower
02/12/2022 09:23 | I last popped onto the thread in July - pretty gloomy looking - I just though I would have a look at what was available online and - surprise surprise plenty of stock on offer below mid price - so bar outstanding news one can only assume this has further to fall once again, as I guess the exchange rates might have continued to impact the company and as for all the hopes about TCAT that seems to have gone up in smoke sadly. The earnings dividend wise have not been anything to help the share price either, so I fear another drop to or below former lows in the near future, and as you say Harrogate the lack of consistency does not leave one brewing over with confidence. | clocktower
01/12/2022 07:36 | Trading updates were 9th November in 2020 and 30th November last year. Not just with OMIP but I find this sort of lack of consistency irritating in a listed Company. If you get into the habit of providing an update before end of FY then don't suddenly stop. Let's hope there is a reason for it and they are putting some finishing touches to some TCAT news. We need some. | harrogate |
