I received the same notification as Swiss Paul on iWeb (Halifax).
Is the easiest thing to find a broker who is doing it, and transfer to them and sell?

As always a scammer , Canadian Law look into it just need to transfer your shares in a Canadian account.

Nope, announcements will be on company website. May be an alerts facility via there but haven’t looked yet.

Guys Canadian law , look it up
Protects small share holders that when the announcement is made to delist they must pay the amount in share price prior to the announcement.
also not subject to Canadians if you was i.e change brokers in that country.

Then they might mobilise and block any future special resolutions. At the AGM Resolution 1 to delist was for/against 397m/33m. There are 568m shares in issue. That's just under 70% behind the Board or John Gunn plus another 16%.

They don't need to buy out any shares at all, they have their approvals in place

No they dont, they simply delist having gotten the necessary approvals at AGM

Daft question but here goes. If they delist do they have to buy out all shares, or is it only the ones that they do not own?

What will happen is we would be offered a price per share and a deadline. If acceptances reach 90% then anyone who doesn't accept voluntarily until that point , their shares are automatically purchased at the offer price. If 90% isn't reached, you can keep your unlisted shares if you wish but with no official mechanism to sell them in the future

There is no such thing as a hypothetical scheme. The offer will be what the crooks think they will get away with. Hopefully if it's derisory enough then enough shareholders will tell them to GTF, that needs to be 56million shares worth

Does anyone know what the mechanics would be of this hypothetical scheme to dispose at fair market value?
With a nominee account, it depends whether my broker can organise it?
I only ever had 1 company delist on me, and they disappeared off the face of the earth.

They finally paid my div today and that was after 2 chases to them.
