If it were suspension of the divi wouldn't that mean there's been a false market since it was announced, and they should have announced before the XD date?

Another more distant option might be a hostile takeover/approach from a third party? Although not so likely as Gunn could choose not to sell at any price as he has over 50%.

Would be amazed if it is something to do with the accounts as the balance sheet is stacked with cash, the numbers should in theory be simple and were to 31st March last year.My thought is suspension of divi given the timings

Very interesting... clearly something which will move the share price? Knowing them it'll take until 12:31 to write the RNS!

At a guess either very good news - Gunn is changing tactics and making a decent offer to all shareholders? (2p plus hopefully)

Or very bad news - pending financial position, accounts being investigated?

I'm about 50/50 on which it will be!!

It is Christmas so I'll go with the miracle. Hopefully some justice after all.

Suspended pending an announcement. Wonder what kind of announcement is so important that a suspension is needed, given that the announcement of intention to delist didn't warrant one.

Whatever the reason for the suspension it's unlikely to benefit shareholders and will enrich Gunn, you can be 100% sure of that.

Or a return of some capital to shareholders -

That is what most want and it reminds of one that did -

But lets see -

I don't think so re 206. This turn of events is all very curious. One would like to think they would do the decent thing and make an offer but I suspect this suspension has something to do with the dividend since it is ex-div day. Maybe they will cancel the dividend. I would not put it past them.

Can they remain suspended then go straight to delist? I was only looking for a trade

Yes @ 8.01 RNS
Sneaky on ex-div date IMO

However very interesting.

Suspended pending a announcement !

Blimey, if he offers a premium for stock he does not hold I'll go nuts given I hold a fraction of my original stock

Not sure who he is, possibly a retired Barrister from Guernsey. Unless you are a Board Member or a Director I cannot see how delisting would benefit you going forward so hopefully he votes against.

Ochs/GaryI think the problem we face is that the 75% is based on votes cast on the day of the AGM and not of the total issued share capital. That is why it is important that every shareholder against the resolution to delist makes sure their Broker votes against.Agreed Roger Barby's votes are critical

Wetpantz, this is the email I received from Charles Stanley so I don't think that the shares need to be sold unless I'm reading it wrong?

@Fest

Here's some lads on Twitter running a competition to find the biggest head ... 'of course' I immediately thought of you.

75cm at least .. it's like a walking Eclipse

Also here's John Fury (another fat, tedious, self promoting loudmouth .. like you) eating ten Ferraro Rocher in less than a minute:

I reckon you'd p*ss that mate.

Come on take up both these challenges, show them how it's done .....

I'm wondering about Roger Barby? Does anyone know much about him? His vote on 9.23% (as at 30/11) could be critical. I tried to find him on Twitter, but not sure he's on there - ideally we need to make contact with him asap and find out his plans.

quazie12,

Sadly not in contact with any other shareholders and very few people on here to try and establish a number.

Directors only control 53.29% of the co and so if everyone votes then they need support from a lot of other people to get to 75%. Key here is that everyone votes, assuming that nobody other than directors would vote in favour of the proposals.

Also XD tomor, so fill your boots today if you can ;)

I agree quazie12, we certainly shouldn't give up... also luckily (on this occasion) most of the board (apart from Gunn) have never bothered to become shareholders (which is often a red flag in itself).

You don't actually know that. Are you a non holder or a shareholder who cant be bothered ?Everyone against delisting needs to contact their broker and make sure they vote against the resolution at AGM. If it is 75% of those votes cast on the day, assuming JG and BoD holdings are around 64% and voting FOR then we need around 120m shares viting against
