"Ongoing support for important haptics licensee Nissha Printing will be maintained as its market launch plans unfold. The Directors anticipate that royalties will be forthcoming within three years, as a result of dialogue that has taken place between Nissha Printing and the Company."

NXT (NTX) shares fell 6.12p to 4.63p on news the consumer electronics firm intends to raise 7.2 million pounds by way of a placing and an open offer in an attempt to ensure the continuation of the business. It would issue 168.1 million shares and 83.3 million shares in two placings, and 16.7 million shares in an open offer, partly to cover an expected working capital shortfall in November. The company currently depends on its bank overdraft and certain creditors for its working capital needs. "In the event that this facility and these arrangements are withdrawn or the fund-raising fails to complete, the group would be required to substantially curtail its operations," NXT added. Separately, the company reported a pre-tax loss of 2 million pounds for the year to end of June, compared with a loss of 0.8 million poun ds a year ago.

Anyone confirm THOMS departure was at a cost of £500K??????

If that is correct, that is as big a disgrace as any to come out of NXT!!

He has been given huge salary and perks (incl pension )for years and produced what for shareholders??????

OVER 25% of ANNUAL REVENUE TURNOVER!!!!

Another SLAP in the face for PI!!

Lisa

You'd have more credibility in your posts if you didnt start off bullish on all these stocks, cut money and then turn bearish.

You need to get it the other way round love.

To all on TMF, you all owe me a huge appology.

I do not feel any sympathy for any of you because you hounded and rounded on me like a pack of rabid dogs just because you couldn't and would't accept a NON BULL point of view.

Now for one more point.

Until you see a true sign of real profit being made from a workable business plan.....keep your cash in your purses is my personal oppinion.

Otherwise its a Directors retirement benefit scheme.

They constantly blamed 'Challenging Markets' etc. Since 2001 everyone has had six phones, 5 iPods and 7 TV's, all were supposed to use NXT speakers and none of them did and no one fekin noticed.

They hype was unbearable, yet they still kept coming back with more bolox.

Birthday Cards was the last one!

Psyco that is my own opinion, based on a company that does not make a profits and in this environment of debt and funding problems, who in there right mind would invest in this piggy bank for the directors, the whole management should state they will take a 80% pay cut to show they are committed to make this company work.

As alway DYOR

It is also a crime that Pension Funds have used what is probably innocent Publics money to support this endlessly failing business.
They have spent well over £100m - on what exactly?

At one stage they had about 3 state of the art expensive offices with no one in them!

The technology is not used because it is not necessary - I said this long ago.

But NXT carried on doing it for another 10 years due to the fanaticism of it's shareholders.
Some even got thanked for their good work!

You couldn't make it up!
