23/9/2010 11:01 | Barclays have just offered me 4.51p to sell my existing shares and 4.50p to buy new ones. Don't have the cash (or the balls) to play the arbitrage (net of dealing fees) but others might be able to. Just bought 20K@4.50p instead. Never seen a spread like it on these shares! EDIT: Only lasted 5 mins: now 4.51 to sell and 4.55 to buy; still a tight spread for NTX | ![]() grandwood
23/9/2010 10:06 | I said 10 years ago that the business model was failed and got a lot of gip for it. The Management had a larf here and even relocated to HK for tax free salaries. imo | ![]() isis
23/9/2010 09:59 | I'm afraid that lisa has been warning everyone about this outcome, so you shouldn't be surprised, I'm just surprised they have lasted this long. Won't be long now thou!!!! the end is in sight. | ![]() beeezzz

23/9/2010 09:15 | psyco, I too would guess that Lewis had a good sales pitch for the institutions. I would also guess that it is only his track record that underwrote the deal. At least the shafted shareholders do have the opportunity of taking part, rather than just see themselves diluted without the opportunity to participate. To justify all the cash over the years NXT needs to be making £20 million a year and more. Sounds a lot but with a global economy it doesn't take more than a handful of successful products to bring in that level of profit. But of course after all these years they still have not managed that trick. | ![]() lefrene
23/9/2010 09:04 | Seen NTX on the loser board, haven't been here since the low 40's. Oh dear, reminds me of TAN, let's hope things can turn around for you guys. | uggly buggly
23/9/2010 08:59 | the funding by these institutions must be based on some good deals coming , maybe a waterproof Ipad :-))) | ![]() psyco
23/9/2010 08:56 | I'm as hacked off as everyone else, although I can see that without Gartmores support the business would have ground to a halt and the IP plundered in a fire sale. At least the business goes on, has a fresh chance to grow, and with fresh money in the kitty is in a stronger negotiating position with customers. With a businessman at the helm rather than a civil servant, this might come good, but it really is the last chance. Come back in five years and see what happened. | ![]() lefrene
23/9/2010 08:47 | "The Issue Price of 3 pence per New Ordinary Share represents a 72.1 per cent. discount to the closing middle market price of 10.75 pence on 22 September 2010 being the last day prior to the announcement by NOGGIN of the intention to carry out the The discount has been set by the Directors following careful consideration of the Company's financial position (including the expected working capital shortfall in November 2010) and the assessment of market conditions following discussions with a number of institutional investors. The Directors are in agreement that the level of discount is appropriate in order to secure the investment necessary to cover the expected working capital shortfall, strengthen the balance sheet, restructure the Company and to ensure that NXT is well positioned for growth as well as to develop some of the Group's existing products " In other words they were over a barrel.... they weren't going to get the funding unless it was a steep discount - it was that or go bust. | reddish tinge
23/9/2010 08:46 | wait for 3p its coming.its a dog share. only idiots would of bought into these. | workhard
23/9/2010 08:43 | It must be bad ....... the internet site is down ...... or did they just shut it off due to the barage of complaints ? This is very p*ss poor in my view . | ![]() substp
23/9/2010 08:34 | Not a great day, but should have seen it coming. Thoms tried but even if the science was right, the sales never have been. New guy looks like a last chance. I wonder what the IP is worth? Some of the patents must be near to running out. | ![]() irenekent
23/9/2010 08:21 | 72.1% discount!! Smells of desperation. | ![]() knowing
23/9/2010 08:15 | If the offer price is indeed 3p then my guess is the share price will settle at around the 4p - 4.25p mark....... Not a happy bunny......... | ![]() warmsun

23/9/2010 08:10 | Positive? How about - now being offered 4.5p . . . time to walk away. | ![]() folderboy
23/9/2010 08:10 | Agreed...but I would have preferred to never have been a shareholder here and now take a view on forward prospects and whether I should invest or not.....if you follow? | ![]() warmsun
23/9/2010 08:08 | The positive is that they have recognised a new business model is needed. Have long though the sales of NXT based products in the millions generated too little to make worthwhile; but the fact that there are products out there suggests that there is a commercail market that can be sweated. So maybe the new way of operating will give NXT a Phoenix rise. | ![]() colsmith
23/9/2010 08:01 | pi,s co cash cows. nothing new there lol. | sirshagalot
23/9/2010 07:58 | I have stayed with these for a very very long time...but am currently a very disgruntled shareholder......... what more is there to say......? | ![]() warmsun
23/9/2010 07:54 | Actually at 3p makes people take up the offer or face massive dilution I suppose. | ![]() amt |
