Nearly a month since the last post, so I couldn't let that go on much longer



Apparently NMD picked up £43m of business in January according to construction enquirer. I know they don't count everything and I have no idea where they source their information and I have no idea what the jobs are.

Can I nervously note that despite the vicious falls on markets, sellers appear to have completely dried up on NMD now.

Maybe just maybe all those who don't really understand the story have sold now.

Morning. The price has slipped back slightly over the last few sessions and today a bit more in accordance with the big falls on Dow and FTSE.

I am interested to see whether if it falls to 300 on the offer whether any of the directors will once again start buying. On the day of the trading update you would have had to have had the money ready and waiting in your nominee account.

I reckon this will get taken private. Why keep the listing? DYOR etc just IMO and heavily loaded still and have topped up on basis of asset backing. If directors are buying, why don't the board all take a 10-15% pay cut and get the earnings and cash motoring again, get the multiple effect on their pay cut?!

And another director buy, ,this time by the HR director.

One starts to wonder how much of this was lined up beforehand as directors seemed ready to press the button on the day.

Or maybe they just couldn't believe the share price like us.

One also starts to wonder how many other employees have bought who are not directors and are not obliged to disclose.

Anyways doesn't really matter. They all believe the company is going places and I'm happy to see how it pans out.

As long as the directors keep buying there won't be any left for us. Grins.


Directors and their families now own 51.1% and have first rights on purchase of another 8.4%

OK Group ICT director buying in isn't a bad sign! Four lots of director buying is also IMO a good sign of confidence .....let's hope they all would vote in favour of a takeover which IMO is a risk given asset backing we have all discussed and under performance now vs what "could be" in the future, which with director buying iMO suggests they are confident...if they were not they would not buy the shares!

Having been out golfing all afternoon it was a very nice surprise coming back to see the jump in share price.....pump or no pump from ADVFN.....roll on Monday!

I had neve rhward of this company, sort of turn a blind eye to construction, wish advfn had given that tip a bit earlier tbh, why 2.45pm and not 8am this morning seems to ask the question why. But had I seen this this morning I would have been straight on board. Maybe if it retraced come Monday I will defiantly be in. But they seem to think it will be 375 fairly soon so all looks good.

Sorry should have given more detail for those not subscribed, buy between 300and 320 and sell at 375. That was their pearls to the swine.

Surely they must be fed up as well??!

Anyway, nice to see even a little purchase by another director. Only about umpteen other directors to go ....where are the NEDs? They get a tidy £35k p.a. EACH yes EACH p.a. for a few meetings.....how about stumping up and sending a message to the market and other shareholders that you are fully alongside your exec team????!!
