For the record. I’m pro investor and whatever their due rights. I can’t stand governments or anyone else who thinks that they can control other people’s lives.

thanks tempted: I'm only interested in ISA - I dont trade shares outside of ISAs - its too complex an equation for me. Its in an ISA or I dont do it...

So for me. It simple. Provided NWG bounces back to where it is today (after a few days) then its 4.53% for nothing.... But as I said earlier, these things rarely work out in practice. there will probably be a massive bear run tomorrow which will take decades to recover from, if ever... 😊

4.53% at 254p, 11.5p final, sold most that are held outside of ISA tax wrapper due to breaching next years poor divi allowance (£500), remember it’s paid next tax year, also there is the reduced CGT issue. With regards tomorrow will consider selling some in ISA if divi fall is less than 11.5p - price likely to drift BUT the unknown (elephant) is the float announcement so may hold tight this time.

Search dividenddata.co.uk , a great free and clear site.

I bought some more.
I feel the divi is a lot and share price
might well rise after a few days (post ex-div)...

Probably will not work out. It rarely does..
But who knows...

It’s an upcoming UK bank IPO. Not sure when they will IPO but I am aware that they currently have grown to a significant size; about 10% of the UK retail banking market.

I think all those meanings could be used in one way or another in any sentence containing 'Nigel Farage'.
