Thanks wllm for the standings.
Yesterday walked a section of the Nottingham Grantham canal that meanders it's way through the Vale of Belvoir. Have had to slow my speed down to take into account my suspect hip joints.

@carp, yep, heavily into REIT's, RECI and SUPR are my 2 largest holdings but, I also hold AEWU, CLI and SERE, hopefully, when the first rate cut is announced they should rise. I'm comforted that many are trading well below NAV and I increased my positions as a result.

Thanks wllm.

Are you heavy REIT investment? Sure they'll come good in time.

My only real laggard at the moment is BOOT. Though tempted to top-up!

When I say 'laggard' I mean that they have not been joining in with the recent rises that we have been seeing.
Interest rates and political uncertainty likely not helping.

Beautiful day today, hazy sunshine and a warm 20c. Had a hit with the ball machine today, set it to sweep from side to side whilst firing balls, I was breathing hard at the end, great for the fitness though.

Another disappointing week considering the bounce in the FTSE, finished the week +0.89%, but remain negative YTD at -1.01%.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

Cinema tomorrow to see the highly recommended 'Civil War'

Hike on sunday before the rain arrives in the afternoon.

An hour's gardening this morning. That's plenty, I find.

Enjoy the fine part of the weekend. Now off for fish and chips.

Another decent day today giving me +3.17% on the week and taking my YTD to a far more acceptable +4.55%

Assuming the boat is out of the water, I have a busy day working on that tomorrow, then it's the annual classic car New Forest Run on Sunday so I hope the weather holds!

Enjoy your weekends.

Wish that was true Malcolm. Unfortunately my holding in CPI is 1/10th of that in ULTP.

So a down day for me, -0.3%. Could have been worse I guess. A lot of blues not enough to cover the one big faller.

Still a good week, YTD +6.6%

Look forward to some decent dividends this month too, AV,MNG, CREI should add close to 0.7% at the month end. Not sure what I’ll do with it though.

US consumer sentiment slumps to 67. Below 85 is typical of recession. 67 is more like deep recession. It's been looking recessionary since Covid hit in 2020. Check out longer time frames.

Warmest day so far here today. Took the boat round for it's 11:00am lift but they were running late and couldn't get a lot of sense out of anyone so we decided to just put the boat in the way so they have no choice but to lift it or move it. Will have to pop down later to make sure it's out!

Looking like another reasonable day for my lot so should be the best week for some considerable time. This months contribution will be in but I amend the figures to allow for that, although it amounts to less than 0.2% of the total added each month anyway.
