Presume this year adj EPS will be around 12.5p in line with last year. A P/e of 6*.

Last year they did 1.37m at the interims, followed by £1.4m in 2H to make £2.8m.

This year they did £1.7m at the interims, and they say the full year will be the same as last year, £2.8m. This implies 2H will fall to just £1.1m ?

Isn’t that what is says ?

Yes, it does seem like they were expecting to be behind last year for H2, even though last year they lost a couple of weeks in March to the snow.

Odd RNS. At interims, operating profit was up 20%, and they say the first ten months were ahead of expectations.

Yet, full year operating profit will only be the same as last year. Does that mean Feb and March are way behind expectations ?

We don't need to conjecture now, Trading Update is out. Ahead of Management Expectations, but in line with prior year. I am surprised they were "expecting" to be below last year.

I had a giggle looking at the BBC weather pages. It appears that the Met Office have issued a 'Yellow snow warning' for Scotland.

The only problem is that it is down 46% today on a warning about contract problems so I think I would stick with NTBR!

The weather has been quite mild this year and so there will have not been many lost working days for the roofing business. If the weather continues as it is for the rest of the month, which does look likely, I think NTBR will have had a bumper year

No Feb trading update like last year, but no news is generally good news here. Overdue a move through 100p but been thinking that for a while. Maybe this is the year.

I did take advantage of the trades to buy a few today will be interesting to see if the seller keeps going.

ADFN 'Trades' are showing two sell orders each of 100,000 shares. Prices achieved seem to confirm that they are sells.

I guess that's Mr Pither still offloading. If that is correct he has 688,956 to go.

That might take a while.

Added to that if and when they make an acquisition don't they often give the previous owners payment or part payment in NTBR shares. These largish shareholdings are often sold off at a later date.

Please correct me if I am wrong but it might account for an ongoing drag on the price which many think is lower than it should be.

Still the divi is ok.

To my mind NTBR are well off without him, apart from the fact he's almost certainly dragging the share price down!
