23/4/2015 16:45 | I agree boxerdog1 - back in September 2012 and the Next iii boardI was predicting 8000p as far back as then in the medium term when everyone was shorting at around 3500p - some of them laughed at me then. I got talking one day back then to one of their property managers and with what he told me was on the cards as far as future shop refurbs and new store space was in the pipeline that gave me confidence that with an expanding Next the future was going to be bright. I have also visited some of the flagship stores that incorporate the whole range, Clothes, Home and Garden and they were packed and looked impressive. Glad I have held long here from around 3200p with top ups along the way as well as a major sell off around 7300p only to bide my time and buy back around 6300p. It is a share that has been very kind to me and intend to review around 8000p as to what next. Good luck to all those that keep the faith and I think the weather at the moment can only be positive when we get the next update. | psmith1964
20/4/2015 08:43 | The only reason we are not nearing £80 mark now is purely as a result of the CEO's cautionary remark following the recent company results when we were topping £76. He made a valid pint of seasonal effects on sales, last year saw a stonking spring/summer due to a very mild spring and hot sunny summer and that mild weather carried on well into autumn and early winter which had a detrimental effect on that particular seasons sales, heavy coats, woollies etc. Hence on results day and following the share price Stalled. Well as to date the weather is obliging buoying sales throughout all rangers as would be expected so if autumn/winter plays it's part bingo another record breaking year. Overseas sales are performing exceptionally well with a new warehouse recently opened in Moscow with more to come globally. Weather is key but IMHO. £80 must be on the cards sometime soon. | boxerdog1
