11/9/2009 12:14 | Yes mike got the hang of that now? Strange how its up 14% on plus but the price hasn't changed??? Some buying coming in now so hopefully we might have a tick up before close. Ihave yes had a look at MOG they look quite interesting I am going to do a little more work over the weekend but certainly on my watch list. To be honest there is so many good stocks at the mo its hard picking the one which will move first. | quinan

11/9/2009 10:09 | Well the most significant piece of news came out in May and this bit say it all The Company has largely completed the analysis of the results from this study and is now in discussion with clinicians and experts in the field, who continue to express strong support for the product. In addition, following considerable interest in NPL-2008 from a number of parties, discussions have progressed well with a third party pharmaceutical company for a potential collaboration which would encompass the further development and commercialisation of NPL-2008. Neuropharm is therefore developing study designs for a second Phase III study, in conjunction with the partner. I just want to pick out some words which I think are Key Discussion with clinicians and experts in the field, who continue to express strong support for the product. further development and commercialisation of NPL-2008 Neuropharm is therefore developing study designs for a second Phase III study, in conjunction with the partner. So IMHO this third party has already made up its mind and NPL-2008 will come to market, NPH are now making sure that they get it right for the second Phases 111, with I expect a little help from this JV. | quinan
11/9/2009 10:05 | Boobly - post 2036 - great idea!! - I'll see if the kids have enough in their piggy banks!! I'll tell them they'll thank me later . . . You never know - a friend of a friend just sold his (I think) 5% share of a biotech company (I think it was in the Far East) that he had held for about ten years. He put £5000 in at grass roots level, and didn't sell when they had successful trials or when they announced a JV - he waited until the company was taken over by one of the big boys, and he is said to have cleared over $20m. I'm not saying that's going to happen here, and I'm also not sure I'd be able to resist selling a few of these at £1, but it all depends on the news. My main objective is to ignore the current daily/weekly ups and downs and wait for the news, and then review, because if both NPL-2008 and 2003 are "go-ers" then it won't stop at 160p. Worst case seems to be no JV and abandon the compounds, in which case we wind up and take about 20-25p cash. Seems to me like limited downside risk and great upside potential . . . but I won't be making a bid! | lombiff

11/9/2009 09:46 | Lmbiff:....Toally agree , and we know there will be news soonish . ps : Any chance that you could pick up the other 2% ? You would be likely to get a seat on the Board , and then you can tell us what`s going on ! Alternatively , you could just crack on with an outright Bid ;>) | boobly
11/9/2009 09:41 | Good to see the silly spread isn't putting the big boys off... they know the reward ;) 50,000 Buy just came in... GLA | mike_f
11/9/2009 08:14 | Good morning all (I guess that's Quinan, Fairdeal, Mike and ihnc) I'm not sure if technicals really work for a low volume share like this, but the chart looks great - nice trend from the March low with rising highs and lows - next spike to 45-50p? Of course, news either way will make a mockery of this, but the trend at least shows (I think) the growing anticip . . . . I'm still sitting quietly at the back with my 1% - they are locked away until the news (or the New Year), at which point I'll review my next move. Good luck to all | lombiff
11/9/2009 08:07 | Any one had a look at NTOG | quinan
