08/9/2009 10:25 | next spike over 50p based on my hopeless charting skills lol... mike - what dragged me back to look at nbr was the end of August rns which suggests things are brightening up. would not take much to move that one (I sold out too early too at around 4.5p I think - it then ran up to nearly 10p in a day hmmmm)... | fairdeal2008
08/9/2009 09:51 | Yep lets hope NPH can beat that one? That would mean NPH going from current level to around £6 or a market cap of £136mln mind you that does not sound that bad if all its compounds come good??? | quinan
08/9/2009 09:51 | I know i watched it... i was in NBR at the very low and jumped out too early on the way back up if you remember. | mike_f
08/9/2009 09:49 | Mike - it went to 22 intraday.... Have a look at NBR See what you think | fairdeal2008
08/9/2009 09:46 | That is the largest spike i have ever seen in a share! lol | mike_f
08/9/2009 09:43 | Hi Mike I also jumped back into PXS today @4.5p I am hoping the shorters have disappeared now?????????? | quinan
08/9/2009 09:04 | Nice one QUIN, good to see we opened a little up this morning just not alot of activity. GL | mike_f
08/9/2009 08:54 | Morning all just decided to round my holdings off with a 2k buy must have gone through plus. Now its sit back and wait. | quinan
07/9/2009 15:52 | I am thinking that the price was kept down to accomodate the 100k buy but no buys came in after it went through so the share price didn't rise... hopefully tomorrow the share price will move how it should now the large buy is out the way. If the 200k trade earlier was a buy (which looks highly likely as it also went through @ 27p) then they must have been working them through, possibly even from last week, that may be why there has been such a large amount of manipulation. All IMO. GLA | mike_f
07/9/2009 15:22 | 100,000 buy @ 27p... lovely jubbly... news must be getting closer with a buy like that! :) Shows that they were occomodating a large buy! Onwards and upwards now hopefully... GLA | mike_f
07/9/2009 13:19 | I wish mike my top up is only going to be around £600 that's if I can get any can't get any online limits?? It's the classic smoke and mirrors by the MM's the price falls a trade turns up @ mid price we all then try to work out someone adding or selling? If it was a sell then the price has held well if it's a buy the Mm's could be trying to confuse to get some sellers to cover it. If we get a little more buying pressure and the share price reacts quickly then I recon that was a buy. Ether way its out the way so we can look forward to the next movement hopeful UP UP and away | quinan
07/9/2009 13:11 | Wondering the same thing... accomodating a large buy maybe? | mike_f
07/9/2009 13:07 | why are they holding price down ? | currypata kai
07/9/2009 13:06 | Ticked down?? WTF?? | mike_f
07/9/2009 13:05 | Probably MM's trading stock, because it had no effect on the price. 33k buy gone thru @ 30p tho. | thearcticfox
07/9/2009 13:04 | 33k Buy @ 30p... That you topping up QUIN? ;) Lets see a few more of them... | mike_f
07/9/2009 12:59 | Surely if it was a sell of that volume he would get below the Bid let alone the Mid so i would suspect it was a buy! | mike_f
07/9/2009 12:56 | ? I`d like to think it was a buy !.....But...... | boobly
07/9/2009 12:25 | 200k trade @ 27p... Buy or Sell??? | mike_f
07/9/2009 10:39 | I think you are right QUIN, they have opened the spread to put PI's off and it's very difficult to get hold of any atm... maybe you should buy a few and get us going ;) GL | mike_f
07/9/2009 10:30 | Looks to me like they are trying to put punters off maybe time to add a little more before the end of the month. MWA doing nicely so difficult whether to take profit on that to add in here? | quinan
07/9/2009 10:22 | On Halifax i can't buy more than £250's worth of shares but can sell the majority of my holding... seems very tight although there is very little volume being traded today... MM's hard up again maybe... GLA | mike_f
06/9/2009 16:31 | That is one heck of a position lombiff - should pay off very nicely. HZM yes, news released on Friday very often sees a delayed reaction so should be a very good week there.... | fairdeal2008
06/9/2009 13:17 | Boobly/Arc - you're right - I could probably have offloaded 100K or so as they were running it up (but not all in one trade and obviously not all at the peak), but getting them back would be a problem - we've seen how quickly it reacts to a few fairly small buys. | lombiff
06/9/2009 11:43 | I think we all thought about it in principal, but the reality is as Boobly implies is far harder. I too am happy with these fluctuations on the way up Not the sort of share one can easily swing trade because of liquidity or lack of it. Settled in a new trading range now though so roll on the Autumn whenever that may be. | arc2006 |
