Was a holder of these during the "tech boom" and have been watching them. Was even offered a sales manager'sob by them a few years back but got better money elsewhere!!.

Will be selling my BLR and buying NET today. Reckon these have got someway to go yet!! Looking for 30p by end of the year.

Agreed, good results.

Growth potential is there - the increase in BT global's contribution means more on the bottom line with little increase in costs.

Profit and cash flow means that there will be no more dilution.

Would still like to see some overseas penetration but on the whole I remain a holder of NET.

Tempting to buy at these prices......

There are positives in these figures, not least the cash inflow.

A 10% increase in turnover should double profits, and if some of the delayed contracts get signed in this half, then we might see some contribution on that front.

I still think, however, that the group needs to be growing at more than 15-20% per annum, to justify this price at the moment. Doubled EPS would still leave them on a p/e of 40.

Disagree 2LB, finally in profit and with potential (admittedly not fully met yet). Cash has risen, so further to your post of 5th Sep you should be happy with that.

LOL

£120k for the year before interest adjuastments - what waste of time.

Ten years and £18m to produce £10k per month with a £2.8m t/o.

No wonder those buyers are flooding in! not.

You're wrong 2LB. H2 results today show a profit for the year and eps of 0.2p, beating your and brokers forecasts.

The annual publishing of the losses takes place in a few weeks - wonder how much they've burnt through this year.

Usual nonsense about profits "next year" - its been "next year" for 4 years, probably just change their broker again, issue more shares to pay the bills again and then eventualy fizzle out.....

Off the Balance Sheet

Profit and Loss Account (17,398,640)

i.e they have spent £18m to create something worth £9m, and overvalued at that.

More drops, this contiunes to be massively overvalued and needs to be down to a sensible 12-13p level.

Trading update issued today - ususal hype PR nonsense, the only two lines that mean anything are hidden at the bottom:

"The short-term result of the roll-out delays will be that revenues and profits
for the current financial year are likely to be less than those currently
forecasted."

here we go again from the cash burn wizards!!

ONE TEL BROADBAND...

Trying to connect thru Wireless modem.
The set-up program is asking for VCI/VPI. What's that?

Some Pdf info:

Make your own Router:

Networking:
Glossary...:

Virtual channel identifier (VCI)
12 bits in length.
It is used for routing from end user to end user.
It functions as service access point.
- -

Virtual path identifier (VPI)
8 to 12 bits.
8 in the case of user-network interface.
12 in the case of network-network interface.
It is the routing field for the network
4 extra bits in network-network interface allows support for an expanded no. of VPC internal to the network, which can be used for network management.
- -

The IP address of the LightStream 1010 switch appears in the Host field, and the port number appears in the Port field. The list of all active VPIs and VCIs appears in the VPI and VCI fields, respectively.

Step 4 Select the VPI and VCI of the virtual channel on which you want to send the OAM ping from the VPI/VCI pull-down list.

Step 5 Enter in the Timeout field the amount of time (in seconds) that the LightStream 1010 switch must wait before determining that the OAM ping has failed. The default is five seconds.

Step 6 Enter in the Delay field the amount of time (in seconds) that the LightStream 1010 switch must wait before sending the next OAM ping. The default is five seconds.

Flatlined at 22.5 ?

Can't see this moving up again without some proper results - and can't see any chance of those in the next couple of years.

Still, bought at 5 so can't complain.

Good to see the bounce - I suspect there are some shorts closing off 30p in that lot.

Should see a steady rise from here driven by news.

Still a firm hold

I Read the article from MW who had tip this share for his subcribers when the share was below 18p. MW thinks the shares have gone up very quickly in the short term (30p plus on 14/02/2005) and has advise the subcribers to cash in.

'The unexpected jump should allow any subscribers to get out at a profit. Only very determined long term holders should stay. The shares appear well ahead of the game now, and there are more enticing homes for the cash elsewhere.' MW 15/02/2005

He has made it clear that it is still a good long term share. Please everyone do your own research and make your own judgements I personally believe the share price has evened out after a quick boost.
