All the options are relatively close, 35p 40p and 45p, so to get to the point of exercise I'd imagine the price would have to be at least (a stable) 60p after all you would not want to exercise that amount of options on the borderline in case the price slipped back.

Chart is looking healthy again - this has taken longer to recover than I expected but could now push on. All recent RNS's have been about institutions, directors or individuals INCREASING their stakes so the insiders are certainly keen.

RE: Bang's options. It would be great to think that 35p was a short term target but there is no expiry date to the options so it could take some time.

35-45p seems a reasonable target though and I would be happy to see that price by this time next year.

BritBear - any thoughts re the slow tick up in NET over the last week or so. Take a look at the rns 5th July 04, Henrick Bang has some weighty options but take a look at the conditions set!, I must have missed this at the time because I don't remember it. I was thinking of dropping NET when I reached breakeven but maybe I'll hang on to see if Henrick ever gets to exercise those options.

You can find out what hosts are connecting to you by opening up a Command Prompt and typing 'netstat' (no quotes). It gives you the service it's trying to connect to as well..

Agree that such big buying is probably the reason for the rise - shows how fast these can move on low volumes.

Expecting deal news soon - if not they will drift again no doubt.

Pity Patoff has not found his way onto this board. The TEO board has a few big fish making comments.

More research required but holding firm for now.

It was in the Business yesterday quite a sizable article but not wholy convincing. They suggested a target price of 20p, but admitted recomending it as a buy earlier this year at 25p

I have just noticed the following snippet in today's Yorkshire Post in the latter's "Sunday Paper Share Tips" section.

"The Business
Netcall is seen as a company with bright prospects as its technology helps firms whose customer relations are damaged by the use of call centres.
Netcall sells a product called QueueBuster which allows people to leave their number, hang up and wait for the centre to call them back.
The group should make profits of £200,000 in the current year and its shares are currently cheap. Buy at 15.5p."

This is the first mention of imminent profitability as far as I am aware.

It was mentioned on C4 Teletext yesterday regarding "What the papers say".

What they did say was, as far as I recall, that they are having success with their product QueueBuster, assisiting companies who have had bad PR following the opening of call centres.

Sounds very interesting, but I am not sure there is the interest in these at the moment to push it too high. I am watching at the moment though. Needs some facts to back up the tip I feel.

The spread is destructive at the moment too, with a market cap of £11m. CCN which has doubled recently has a H1 profit of £430k on a t/o of £1.3m, and had £1.6m cash. The market cap there is only £8m, and waiting to move up I feel. If NET can show solid profitability as a result of this product, then it should double too!

Not sure what the sentence above actually means.

Has it or has it not been tipped?

Should it say "Does anyone know if this got tipped in the Sunday papers?" - A question

OR

"Are you lot so stupid that you do not know this was tipped in the Sunday papers" - A statement.

Either way - a nice 10% start. Still looking for 30p short-term on these. Really need deals though.

I'm afraid Monty Python does seem to be part of my subconscious, although it's kindof mixed with bits of Homer and Grumpy old men.

On a serious note I'd like to find someone who has actually been responsible for installing call-centres, to see what the corporate feeling is about them after they've been running for a while. ie. do the savings stack up and what were the thoughts on the effect on customers in terms of the brand.

Think the same arguments will apply to voice recognition when it comes to call-centres. Theres' still got to be the options that are currently frustrating when trying to pick the right one.

Unless it will end up like Ask Jeeves. ie. you ring local cinema and just speak "I would like 2 tickets to see SAW on Wednesday this week please" and then it all clicks into action. If it became truly customer driven, call-centres would be great. Well pretty good anyway.

IMHO call-centres are a time-bomb of customer dissatisfaction waiting to go off. They've been forced on customers by management's desperate to increase profits.

But from a company's point of view as well, I can't understand how the numbers can actually add up. If it used to take an average 2 minute conversation with someone to get a bit of information and it takes 3 separate 2 minute conversations with some less well trained call-centre operators to get the same thing done. OK, if its very cheap labour perhaps, but a lot of call-centres use people who are perhaps only paid 30% less than those who would have answered my call previously.

Plus in a few years everything we do on call-centres will be done online or via TV.
