10/2/2004 18:10 | I find todays share price movement disappointing but can imagine that it is good news despite being wary. Committed capital may have wanted to take a profit to invest elsewhwere. Traders do that to good investments everyday. I have already wondered why the price rose into selling in previous weeks and think the MMs may have known this was coming especially as the deal went through at such a low price indicating it may have been agreed a while ago. Their sharp mark up this morning suggests they thought it was good news but the market doesn't understand it yet. The timing will probably be CC's not Netcall's. I wouldn't expect a fundraising just ahead of results. Given the strong 2nd half last year even after increased R&D I'm still optimistic although a bit more cautious. | ![]() aleman
10/2/2004 17:03 | Couple of points about today's news , it seems Committed Capital are no quite so committed ! Sold out their options for a quick profit ... to be honest I don't know much about CC and this may be the way they operate i.e. they are not an investment type vehicle ( if anyone knows more please post ) . As for the deal in Japan , this seems to go through CC to a company called Digiberry in Japan and then resold onto Itochu . Few fingers in the pie there I hope this does not impact to much on the profit to Netcall . Finally from the statement this morning >> "The capital raised will help underpin the lengthy sales cycle on Netcall's flagship call-centre product, QueueBuster. It also provides additional finance to accelerate the marketing of QueueBuster Service, the Company's new hosted product, charged for on a subscription basis and geared to enable smaller call centres to take advantage of QueueBuster's benefits." Net have talked about lengthy sales cycle's in the past and to be honest with Quebuster now proven I had hoped I'd heard the last of that phrase . Sold a chunk of my holding today and will probably wait until results now before getting back in . | ![]() wakeland
10/2/2004 16:24 | Seemed fairly positive when markets opened,in terms of share price-surprised to see the early gains diminish so rapidly-Is the deal in japan to market queuebuster-or is this an actual sign-up to use in a call-centre-if the latter, then in terms of revenue is it that positive. | ![]() shutittrev
10/2/2004 07:36 | Announced today Netcall signed deal with Itochu in Japan. 2nd RNS says 8.5m sale was from Committed Capital options and that this stake has been taken up by a UK institution to strengthen shareholder base. Still don't know about other 8m that went through at same time but this now looks fairly positive I would say. | ![]() aleman
08/2/2004 22:50 | If the general options were issued to Committed Capital along with their specific ones, that would add to the 2m they already hold to make 15.76m. That could nearly account for the 16.5m sale. Having said that nearly the same could happen if the general options had gone to Isis. | ![]() aleman
06/2/2004 16:32 | 16.5 million represents 29.1% of the share capital at the year end. Very large holdings were J. Rubins with 7.1m beneficial and 1.3m non-beneficial at 30th June and ISIS P.L.C. with 9,898,742 as of 14th October. From EGM of 08/08/02 board have authority to issue 9.24m to Committed Capital Pty and 4.52m generally under proposed options.AGM resolution 5 and 6 permitted further issue of 4m. Anyone got news on the joint venture in Japan with Committed Capitol? | ![]() aleman
06/2/2004 16:02 | Anybody have an idea of the volume-16 million-where did they come from?-06/02/04 | ![]() shutittrev
28/1/2004 07:33 | I seem to remember at the time of the H2 announcement that a Japanese group had been trialling QB for approx 2 months. 7 months should have been a sufficent trial period and perhaps at the next H1 it will be announced that this has been converted to a firm buy. | angler
28/1/2004 01:07 | Interims expected 2nd half of February. Netcall made £160k pretax in the 2nd half on turnover of £1.6million. Most contracts are 3 years.BT contract should make this £340k on £1.85million giving EPS of around 0.5p. Obviously turnover to be gained from elsewhere to add in also but I wouldn't want to hope for too much at this stage.Maybe get to 1.5p for full year.( Constructive criticism welcome.) As they are working on " a number of projects" with " pretty long sales cycles" where "closure is difficult to predict" then contract news will be important. Hopefully the BT contract will encourage others to follow and so I'm hoping for good news. These are speculative numbers of mine so DYOR.Any body heard any firmer estimates? | ![]() aleman
27/1/2004 18:07 | Are NET due to make their H1 announcement in the next day or two? Any thoughts on likely performance? | angler

21/1/2004 23:36 | I could imagine it but the lack of trades suggests otherwise.Few more trades today but still very quiet compared to my other holdings. | ![]() aleman
21/1/2004 13:23 | BT take out is rumoured but it is just that a rumour. | ![]() paddyfool |
