The UK government's overseas investment arm, CDC Group, said it would invest more than $300m in a new business to develop electricity networks in Africa, which it calls one of the biggest impediments to economic development in the world's poorest continent. The company, to be known as Gridworks, will be launched this week, CDC chief executive Nick O'Donohoe said. It will make investments in power transmission and distribution infrastructure, as well as off-grid electricity systems.

There were some weird repeated reports yesterday too. So it goes...The JDA will come when it comes. I'm fully loaded now, any further top ups would be hard to swallow.

What's deceptive is they cancelled trades that are popping up from yesterday - looks like they were trying to keep a lid on it with those 200k phantom sells!

No longer in these having sold at 7p through boredom but If there were any problems affecting the jda concerning the China connection then I am sure there would have been RNS by now as it's price sensitive

Clockwork, I am well aware that the coal power plant is not in either USA or China. I like you am a shareholder and obviously want this to succeed for everyone. If the current trade war doesn’t bother you in relation to this deal that’s absolutely fine. But it does concern me and probably many others, whether or not it is justified.
