21/2/2024 19:51 | Real value here. Already one of my best performersI've no doubt it's been manipulated and held back so as to be able to tempt Sid. and NatWest Group's NWG guidance for 2024 is below consensus and "highly conservative," given markets' current rate cut pricing for the UK, Berenberg analysts said Monday. The British lender expects income, excluding notable items, to reach 13 billion pounds sterling to 13.5 billion pounds in 2024. The group's forecast reflects a Bank of England interest rate of 400 basis points by end-2024, lower than market estimates by 40 bps. Based on market-implied interest rate projections, Natwest's revenue outlook could increase by an additional 400 million pounds. Berenberg estimates 13.8 billion pounds. As the BoE begins cutting rates, analysts expect NatWest Group's net interest income to stabilize and increase by mid-2024, supported by the company's reinvestment of hedge assets. Berenberg believes that the company will be able to offset the negative impact of lower interest rates through higher margins on new mortgage lending and modest loan growth. Berenberg reiterated its buy rating on the stock. | kiwi2007 | |
