19/1/2023 11:45 | CEO is pathetic and needs to be fired. Out of his depth. Doesn’t know what he is doing | buffettjnr
19/1/2023 11:40 | Most of the debt is fixed until 24, no material impact until then. And debt has been consistently between 900 and 1100 for over 5 years. Could be something obvious like UK strikes, which is short sighted given its exposure globally, but seems to have really underperformed compared to all other travel stocks. Scratching my head. They have already said margins to gradually increase from 7% this year to 10% in 27, with a mean of 9%, revenue and and FCF to to increase by 1 billion through that period, although profitability will lag initially hence the increase in margin. Doesn't sound like a 1.34 stock | jsg123
19/1/2023 11:36 | All depends when the maturities are due and at what rate they are fixed until. This company has operating leverage, so do have flexibility. | bookbroker
19/1/2023 10:47 | Not a holder, was in 2020/2021 has really liked the inelastic demand ie coaches were always full throughout COVID etc. However the market hates huge debt to mkt cap in a rising interest rate market which we are now in. If the debt wasn't there the mkt would love the stock but it's going to eat into their profit margins substantially | reviewwworld
19/1/2023 10:24 | The debt has always been there, they need to resolve the issue of strike action by the engineers. This is too lowly valued currently on the basis of the last trading statement, and they should be benefitting from the issues in the UK over the rail strikes. It looks on the face of it that the company is performing pretty well as a whole, UK side now just a small proportion of the entire. Maybe they should consider divesting themselves of the UK, but then what happens to the listing. | bookbroker
19/1/2023 10:23 | More train strikes would be nice... anybody else tempted to pop down to the train picket lines to provide some support and encouragement? lol | casholaa
19/1/2023 10:19 | It's 10% increase on wages, potential strikes, and the debt. Next update needs to show more progress on debt. If good then finally tide will turn. No dividend until debt hammered down. Then share price will soar, but only then. | chester9
19/1/2023 10:11 | It's almost like no one realises what a bargain this is. | xvzc
18/1/2023 21:25 | Gone to sleep at 140p... | diku
18/1/2023 09:33 | Is that a ceiling or base building?...or just knackered... | diku
17/1/2023 16:13 | hxxps://www.unitethe Also, there are adverts for NE 'engineers', £40k p.a. | casholaa
17/1/2023 14:14 | Concrete ceiling at 140p?... | diku
15/1/2023 21:12 | Trouble brewing for NX West Midlands, Bus Engineers are threatening strike action, now 95% of their drivers rejected the latest pay offer in a ballot & are heading towards strike action too.... | winston270
13/1/2023 14:35 | We could do with more train strikes and resolve any payrise issues... of course, Brexit hasn't helped as there is a shortage of drivers!!! Apparently Billy Resus Hogg made £7m quid out of Brexit. | casholaa
13/1/2023 14:30 | Looks like algos have capped 140p... | diku
13/1/2023 09:19 | Handbrake still on... | diku
12/1/2023 18:42 | Double decker coaches aren't practical on some NX coach routes particularly airport routes, as they have less luggage space than a single decker coach. The 6 double deckers were originally acquired for the A1 London - Luton Airport, but luggage capacity issues saw them transfer on to the 040 Bristol - London route. | winston270
12/1/2023 18:29 | If this company was subsidised to the extent of the rail industry in this it would be laughing all the way to the bank. It is absolutely appalling that the Govt. loses billions of taxpayers money on the rail system in the UK just to keep the trains running. They need to slash the rail network and put more in to the bus network, we have the most inefficient rail industry in the world pretty much. | bookbroker
12/1/2023 17:54 | What they should have are double-deckers as standard. If you've never taken one of these, they have nice seats, the coaches are very clean, there is a standard UK 3-pin socket between the seats, a toilet and a monitor/screen near the windscreen so you can see what the driver can see... I may pop up to Cambridge this weekend... but still undecided, the extra hour or so on the coach vs train, means that I can spend the difference with the train ticket on lunch... I think I'll change my handle to Ebenezer lol | casholaa
12/1/2023 17:42 | Also, I booked online as a 'guest' and retrieved the booking through the app on my phone which was fantastic. | casholaa
12/1/2023 17:41 | I like taking their coaches occasionally, but I never paid as much as I did the other week. I am certain that it was down in part to the train strikes and demand as the coach was full going out and almost full coming back. What surprised me was that many people travel from one end of the country to the other in one go by hopping from one service on to another at the coach stations. It would be great if there was a motorway lane for highspeed travel though. | casholaa
12/1/2023 15:30 | And sleep again.. | diku
12/1/2023 14:44 | Towards the end of day it wakes up... | diku
12/1/2023 11:59 | I think it's because we haven't been told anything about the request for a pay rise by the mechanics -the drivers got theirs. | casholaa |
