Well, if i had funds, id be filling my boots right now. Forward pe of 12 (probably sub 10 by now, cant be bothered doing the sums) is nothing for a company with natural, virtual monopoly in this country. Shady shenanigans is my ASSumption. Always do your own thinking.

Markets never cease to surprise. 10% off on that statement? Virtual monopoly in this country, spanish revenues above pre pandemic, liquid, dividend reinstatement, surprised these are not trading above 3 squid.

National Express (NEX) issued a trading update and reinstated its medium-term guidance this morning. Revenue continues to track close to 2019 pre-pandemic levels, progressing strongly to anticipated FY 2022 revenue of around £2.7bn. In the short-term, management expect the recovery in profitability to lag that of revenue and hence for margins initially to be below the 9% average target 2022-2027. The Group continues to expect to deliver a sequential improvement in margins from 2021 levels with a 2022 margin of around 7%. Going forwards, the Group expects 2023 margins to improve further towards the 9% target average. Valuation is reasonable with the share price still to recover most of its post-COVID losses, forward PE ratio at 12.3x is top half for the sector. The business is also solid, debt is up a little through the Pandemic, but is manageable. BUY.

Not another top up opportunity coming up, tricky short term pricing..take a longer term view 2-5yrsrs, you would expect a decent return on investment by then imo dyor as usual

Good on revenue, but profits to be hit due to the obvious. These are definitly on my watch list with a view to buy. Need to let the dust settle first and of course keep an eye on their costs
