I'm married so always do my own thinking .... but not my own talking. Let us see what the rest of week bring s. Stock market is a bit like a bus route - you wait around for ages and nothing happens - then all of a sudden there is a splurge of activity - except at weekends :-)

The existing NXWM Perry Barr depot was required to move a few hundred meters down the road due to redevelopment work for the Commonwealth Games. It was originally due to have moved before the games & the Athlete's Village was meant to have been built on the site of the existing depot. That's obviously not now happening but will still form part of the re-development of Perry Barr.

Well, this is going from the sublime to ridiculous. Never thought we'd see 2.20 let alone sub 2.00. Are we back in the depths of a serious virus outbreak for which there is no vaccine? I would be mopping these up if i had spare cash, average down as low as they go then appreciate all the way back to 3 squid. IMHO.

From a post today on ROL thread then it seems Diamond / Rotala have lost out to Stagecoach as regards running Warwickshire CC tendered services. At the time I thought it was a bit of a dubious expansion for Diamond taking over those services from Johnsons earlier in this year. As regards relevance to NEX then Diamond / Rotala also took over some Birmingham / West Mids services from Claribels earlier this year - at the time I also thought that was a bit dubious as regards commercial viability. From what I have seen recently then most of the time the Diamond buses are virtually empty on route 94 (which is shared with with NX WM) - so in effect it would seem competition to NEX in their major UK bus operation (National Express West Midlands) seems to be diminishing.
