My two pennyworth. Locally there is a shortage of bus drivers caused by some of them transferring to better paid jobs driving lorries. As a result some services are being cancelled.

I've been adding between 230 and 250. Last year bought sub 200 and sold just before 300. I think next 12m with normalisation post covid, merger completion there is no reason this stock is not 350-400

I'm thinking of buying in here following the recent drop. Where do people think the share price might be in 12 months' time, following the possible stagecoach merger? Unsure whether to buy now or wait to see if it drops lower, as some posters have predicted a drop below £2. Any advice would help as I have little experience of the travel sector.

Disappointed price action to date, support levels should attract bargain hunters, I am looking to add but will remain patient in case we get lower prices this month.

Before anyone berates me for this post then please note that it will be my last on this thread for the foreseeable future - as have decided that their main bus operation in UK (West Mids) is a lost cause as regards to providing a reliable customer service. If you wish to see how badely the servives have deteriorated then just look at 'nxbus' on Trustpilot. Ther has just been another reissuing of timetables - presumably to address issues as services on some routes are less frequent - presumably for better timekeeping. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have worked and services this morning still bunching prior to morning rush hour - when traffic congestion can't be used as an excuse.My other parting observation is that lots of the older drivers have dissappeared - seemingly retired or gone to other operators such as Claribels. The newer / younger drivers seem overall grumpy - which isn't a great trait for such an occupation.

Yup I'm adding substantially here. My wife regularly uses the service from London to various hubs and the message remains: coaches are full, demand is definitely back

IMO the share price will be over £3 within 6 months. It looks undervalued at the current price and should rise from here. This is a definite buy/long-term hold.

So after the major timetable changes on NX West Mids that were implemented from 29th August that seemed to lead to significant issues then it seems they are going to have a second shot at it with further major timetable changes from 3rd October.From a quick look at the new timetables seems that on some routes the service intervals are being decreased ie less scheduled services. Will wait with interest if this improves overall reliabilty / customer service.

All share merger with Stagecoach would unlock a lot of synergies, but must be quite possible someone will gatecrash.

Heading towards pre vaccine announcement levels yet vast majority of this country, US and Spain now vaccinated with Australia picking up speed. These will bounce sharply when sentiment turns. Always do your own thinking
