2.47 is a great price. I was going to wait longer but as the MM are having fun and NEX is a great well run company. I have jumped back in. I did not think COVID would be clearing up so fast. The results underline a reflection on what or is not profitable. GLA.

That's no bear trap. That's the realisation sinking in that this autumn we are going to see catastrophic levels of new infections, chaos when school restarts, a government that hangs on far too long to do anything because they've invested so much political capital in 'Freedom Day', and finally new restrictions probably several weeks too late, with huge numbers hospitalised, as other countries start closing their borders to arrivals from the UK.

Yes obviously NEX will recover, but not yet. Disclosure: I was a long-term holder, out for now but will buy again when everyone is at their most depressed about the situation, probably late autumn.

Beautiful bear trap, who hasn’t loaded up, pandemic in the end game now, investors looking ahead to next year for a big run up in under valued uk equities.

Painful short term but this is a quality recovery play. Hold and average down if you can. Never thought we'd see these levels again. Always do your own thinking.

No, they have plenty of liquidity. Long term contracts covering cash costs. They wouldn't have done the acquisition in Spain recently if they were too stretched.Obviously if all governments go to full 2020 style lockdown again, then yes. But UK at least is not, neither is USA. That leaves Spain and a few other major revenue countries. Is the EPS for FY21 and FY22 forecast from brokers at risk? Probably. A longer road to recovery IMO than projected currently. I expect some downgrades imminently to forecasts.

Will they need another equity raises with Delta causing problems?.

Heavy short selling for past month, I suspect that's real reason for this unexpected slump. Luckily, sold half my holding at 3.18. Keep averaging down, short selling will stop eventually. And will need to close those positions when travel returns to normality end this Yr (imo). No funding issues, recent placing at 2.20. Always do your own thinking.

You need to make up your mind. Back in March you were ramping NEX up to £3.95 by June.(post 1653) Now your saying it’s going down to £2.00

NYBoy...I love NEX but sold when the delta variant appeared, also sold SAGA. This is going to 200p as the market is considering if things will ever return to any kind of normal. What is the next variant going to do? That is I think the existential question. This uncertainty means long trend of down. As soon as there is an answer, or we learn to live with covid, this will soar, until that be out of travel.
Good luck. This is a great company experiencing a horror show.

Looking back at that moment when I was tempted to sell the last time it was over £3...
Oh well, topped up, averaged down, and will drink a glass of whiskey for the short term pain.

Spain also a concern. Rising cases and tightening restrictions on the cards.UK as well, Autumn restrictions are more likely now with Boris' "enjoy summer now" strategy.

I suspect Melbourne extending lockdown amid surge in covid cases may keep these subdued short term in addition to general market malaise. Good potential for 4th qtr all being well. Always do your own thinking.
