21/3/2022 12:12 | Lots of news today. | dosser50
17/3/2022 11:01 | I've just read the statement by National Express this morning in response to DWS / BIDCO £1.05 a share. Being a shareholder of SCG for many years, I've decided that I won't be accepting this offer but to vote for the merger between two powerful brands. By accepting £1.05 a share.... That's it. You won't share in the future financial successes of the combined businesses of NEX & SCG. No dividends. The vision will be lost the listing of SCG will be lost. To many British companies are being snapped up by venture capitalists who look to buy companies that for all sort of reasons are undervalued while listed on the LSE. They then cherry pick the bits they want then throw the rest of the carcass away not before saddling it with more debt and selling it for a near sum. I'm looking over and above DWS offer and preferring the NEX long term vision. I believe new and existing shareholders will make more money as a combined group and be rewarded financially. Good luck in whichever way you cast your vote. | leadersoffice
11/3/2022 10:05 | Under-valued, I have been adding for a proper full scale recovery in Q3-Q4, staying on holiday in Asia, no sign of spring in blighty, not time to return, even though Southern Europe is slowly moving into Spring, which is definitely a temptation | ny boy
10/3/2022 07:52 | Well from observation in Brum then given the choice ofEating,Heating,Kee | livewireplus
10/3/2022 07:39 | Probably as good as can be expected. As the World's attention will undoubtedly switch back to Net Zero at some point in the next year, public transport should be back on the agenda. They seem to be saying that fuel costs are hedged for 3 years - so people will be forced out of cars at current prices. | 18bt
09/3/2022 16:14 | Unfortunately a judicial review brought by Stagecoach and Rotala failed - Judge rules in favour of Andy Burnham's major bus reform in historic moment for Greater Manchester's passengershttps://ww | livewireplus
09/3/2022 15:52 | So the market didn't like the merger deal with Stagecoach and are glad to be rid of it, or is it just bid spec in the sector ? | yf23_1
09/3/2022 15:11 | Brilliant bear trap sub 200p, did yer take the trade and buy/add, market has presented excellent opportunities for dip buying, especially the travel sector lovely stuff, I’ll stay on holiday | ny boy
09/3/2022 09:54 | Oil price increase is good for us if people leave their cars at home? Also if Rail fares increase? - Congestion charge - etc - etc. | deutsch4
09/3/2022 08:36 | Cash offer for Stagecoach recommended by management. What does that mean for Nat Express merger proposal ? Seems market likes it judging by rise in share price | yf23_1
07/3/2022 15:22 | Yes not good for transport companies | mwainw1973
07/3/2022 12:16 | Oil up approx 30% since beginning of invasion. Corresponding drop here from 2.85 to sub 2.00. Bargain. Cant see oil much higher if any unless all out war across Europe. Always do your own thinking. | creddy
04/3/2022 18:27 | Looking tasty at these levels. Always do your own thinking. | creddy
24/2/2022 10:40 | Always a good time to buy when everyone else are running round like headless chickens. Yes, there are unknowns for oil with the unfolding situation in ukraine but this wont turn into ww3. Geo political situation today is far different to that in 1914 and 1939. IMHO, always do your own thinking. | creddy

09/2/2022 07:02 | It's not that. It rallied 5% in less than an hour. Plus I missed the formal memo the pandemic ended yday. Travel broadly strong but was generic risk on to mkts too, NEX doesn't normally have a higher beta than IAG etc | reviewwworld
09/2/2022 02:10 | End of pandemic buying across the leisure/tourism sector, some real bargains about imo | ny boy
