We are back to the nano paradox.
ME not being able to give definitive answers on actual or potential
sales for whatever reason.
Pc where can we access the PH report attached to their broker target
price for the sp?

A further placing is still possibility, I would say it is now more likely to be later than sooner if at all of course. But ME's comment was based on expected revenue ramp up happening when he expects, however you have to rely on that being true to not have a placing. If ramp up is slower than planned or just occurs later, the possibility is still there. Equally ramp up could be quicker so eliminating a risk. Right now I am a little more relaxed on the subject at least. Saying that, for those with access to the Peel Hunt report today, you will know even PH have considered a placing may be required at some stage in the future if revenue growth is not quick enough (so a risk analysis question), but on a much longer timeline I was thinking, so short term not a concern. The question of a placing is really down to what value of cash remaining does Nano really have to need to boost its "cash reserve" while revenues ramp up to a break even level. Is that £12, 8 or 4M? The lower the figure the longer that point will be in reaching and could well be never.

While Nano are making great progress with their 3 routes to market, its still down to timing which is not a matter for Dow, Merck and Wah Hong but the display OEMs and changing their current QD sources or launching new QD based models.

I see no urgent rush after exiting at 67p to buy back into Nano now unless an opportunity does appear and I do have an idea of my entry price. There are good opportunities to boost the price, just a case of when they are due. But in terms of this new QD market, I think Nano is an excellent investment prospect longer term as this market grows.

Incidentally, has anybody seen any published news on this QDV factory closing which was mentioned as I cannot find anything. QDV are finished and have substantially reduced their headcount, the supply of rail based QD supply is dead, it does not support HDR as per the web cast Q&A. Nanosys are not dead at all which I've seen mentioned, this is QDV factory closing in Taiwan as far as I can tell. But that lawsuit is expensive for them at $1M a month (ouch!). Nanosys don't have unlimited funds and QDV are even worse so its a fight to the death on that one and even the survivor will be weakened financially. Its interesting times in this market and Nano can quietly get on with hoovering up partners and setting up production facilities with them.

Firm a lot predicted and believed a new shares issue was about to take hold, when PC did believe himself to be that case,I said it was a roumor,so Bruice reiterated that either one of us could be right.Well after MEs speech I was right there is no need for fundraising.I deserve a Blue peter Badge for that.

Another day of mainly automatic trades, some bigger buys at the end of trading, then a big £260k sell.

One concern I have is the tight lid kept on what is happening with Dow. I guess that is due to confidentiality agreements etc. However it is frustrating to have such little detail about the biggest player in the game. Details seem to be much more forthcoming with regards to Wah Hong and Merck, so perhaps it's just a difference in corporate culture.

It's as if peel hunt have advised Nanoco to do a token £10k director purchase

As mentioned if shorts have reduced will be happy

Peel hunt 75p evaluation under whelming but be nice to see it just get back to that level soon. Next quarterly sales update in November i assume but do nanoco normally release quarterly results ? Well aware still too early for sales ramp up
