I don't see Nanoco in the short term pulling anthing from the hat, however I believe big news could come from Merck with the licensing agreements like DOWs with LG.If they choose the US as their location for the QD factory, there's always a glimmer of hope it could be Big A.

Don't rate these big Investment companies.Certainly don't behave professionally, or to protect thier own clients interests, who have invested in their funds.A massive sell-off on a Friday hardly sets the right impression. On another note, let's hope the "bad" day for nano has now become monday... as it certainly has been Friday for quite a while. So depressing. On a final note... glad to see ssw back.. rather than fos ... at least I have ssw filtered.

Are BG going further, and is this a reaction to the results and presentation? PIs selling at 'these levels' get labelled as 'weak holders'. I wonder if BG see themselves that way, or have they come to a pragmatic decision?

A few million shares missing there,as it doesn't count for the full 6.7 million sold at 50 that day.

Yep, previous RNS holding 26,029,365, now 21,979,365. That's some of the big trades we saw.

Ok then. I will leave you for a while. I will be back when the share price capitulates another 10 or 20 percent or when there are some board changes.

Fair enough.

We will just have to wait and see if the gossip is idle , but i dont think " patient investors "have got long to wait, as ME would say.

Slip,

I think we will see sets in 2017. That's when LG have said they are going to release their QD line of TV's. Seems a reasonable assumption as they are clients of Dow.

I would expect some chinese TV's mid 2017. TCL and Hisense ..

Not sure about Samsung, but they have already said they intend to have all of their TV's Qdot in the near future, some 50 million of them. I assume they will need more supply..

I've listed to the presentation twice now, as I thought I misunderstood what I heard when the price collapsed. I don't think ME was dejected, nor do I think he has no idea when Nano's dots will be in TV's. He's just being prudent, which I personally. If ME was only interested in dumping his holding I suppose he'd have taken the opportunity to pump prospects as hard as he could. Instead it was mild-mannered, quietly pleased with progress. Now. The market is crying out for quantum dots. HDR is here, and is the future. Cadmium dot manufacturers going to the wall. As soon as Nanoco receive a bulk order from Wah Hong there will be an RNS. And as soon as Dow notify Nanoco of an order for their dots, there will be an RNS. And at that moment if you're not already in on this stock you'll have to settle for buying back at ? (>£1 I would say).

As to the price, the weak sell when the price is dropping and buy when it's rising. You're just getting screwed by the market.

Much more likely to see good news than bad over the next few months leading up to CES with some cad free surprises.

He always sounds dejected ...

I thought the conference call was quite informative. Pretty clear when he said Nano's tech will lead the industry and that their dodts were better than anything else.

It's also clear to me that cadmium is dead. That only leaves two players to supply the whole industry: Nano/Dow and Merck vs. Hansol ...

ME isn't going anywhere... not after getting Merck and Wah Hong signed up. He's been there far too long to shift.

Personally not a great fan of him either. It was a mistake not to realise there wasn't a market in general lighting. Display is where the market is now. Should be 100% focused on that.

Keep saying this but it's the industry that will drive nano forward. Neraly 50% of Samsung's TV's Qdot next year. Some 20 million sets. LG new range. TCL and Hisense moving across to cad free.

Dow haven't given up. Merck just beginning.

A long haul in science, but once this gets some traction it will run for years...
