19/11/2019 17:16 | I can't find any past shareholding for the Proffesior Several buys on NEX today all showing a sells | activmojo
19/11/2019 16:33 | That will be it.. one of his obituaries reads "Paul, who is survived by his wife Kym...." So probably transferred to her as part of the estate. So, will she hold or dump ? Woody | woody33
19/11/2019 16:13 | Related to the late Professor Paul O'Brien? | andycapped
19/11/2019 15:44 | Interesting... A Doctor now buying 1.4% of NANO..... something else we don’t know about.! | botbot1202
19/11/2019 12:38 | It’s going to fluctuate and then bounce. Only positive thinking from now on. I’m in it to win it.... | botbot1202
19/11/2019 12:22 | Is it just the current trading activity of Peel Hunt that keeps the share price low (or lower)? All seems a bit odd at this point in time (yet another Nanoco special ... ).Plus Nanoco are keeping pretty tight lipped about what is going on behind the scenes. Best thing would be to personally meet and study the daily activities / personas of board members. After all, they stand to lose a fortune if bones698 turns out to be rightThe big iis must have easy access (?) to board members to gauge likely ongoing discussion outcomes, thus executing their corresponding reaction. I am not thinking board members are able to maintain such poker faces, so things must be safe for the moment? But then again, we are talking about Nanoco here. | jfacwc
19/11/2019 12:14 | Same again. Peel hunt clients net buying. OK only 650k shares in total since in play but still... | bagpuss67
19/11/2019 11:18 | Well. I have faith. Just bought another 200,000...... In it for 1m now...... | botbot1202
19/11/2019 10:06 | What's with all this telling people to eff off, just because you don't like their opinion? FWIW, I consider bones698 low valuation as fanciful as your over estimate of £3 per share. We know he (she?) is short because they have declared as such. Personally I would be closing a short pretty sharpish at this moment in time, but it's their money. The combined time of Nanoco employees represents over a millennia of R&D. I think the majority have considered Nanoco a hopeless case when it comes to commercialisation, but the tech was always good- you just don't attract big players like Dupont, Merck, Apple if you're peddling snake oil. I think the timelines for adoption of QD tech have been proven over optimistic, but that the market will eventually adopt them in the majority of displays, not just for quality but for efficiency purposes. Perhaps mid 2020's. | andycapped
18/11/2019 22:22 | 36m mkt cap worth less than half that No sales No contracts 6m in the bank Runcorn facility dormant worth maybe 6m being generous Highly loss making and will be for some years Worth about 12m max imo so expect the share price to plummet when nobody makes an offer acceptable to the board and they then have to look to raise an awful lot of money at a huge discount Slowly drifting down but a long way to go | bones698
18/11/2019 13:50 | More peel hunt client buys than sells again. Presumbaky peel hunt are not negative on the situation then | bagpuss67
17/11/2019 12:17 | I don't think anyone has a clue what they're talking about. The only rational basis for any evaluation is what happened when QD Vision's 250 patents were purchased for $70m by Samsung in 2016. It's not much to go on but it's all there is unless you're inside. | nigwit
17/11/2019 11:35 | No one knows what the outcome could be. I don't put much value in the patents as the majority will be worthless it maybe just one or group that could have commercial value and that may not extend beyond one company. Apple could come back and offer an extended contract and we're back to being holders in a CFQD company. Speculation is the name of this at the moment. | activmojo
17/11/2019 10:11 | I'd agree that what has happened in the past is going to be largely irrelevant to any offer, and that the value of the company now rests with its IP and what someone is prepared to pay to obtain it. I think some of the estimates being bandied about, like £3 per share are ludicrous, as indeed are the low figures of a few pennies per share by the one poster on here that is indeed shorting the company. I think if an offer is made it'll be somewhere in the region of 50-100p per share. I'll be very happy if it s more. | andycapped
17/11/2019 08:39 | Article in yesterday's FT, subscription only, but it has been reported else where. Apple have delayed the AR launch to 2020 because they still need to reconcile the performance/power consumption issue which was the cause of the project delay. I believe they need our CFQDS for this project. I suspect they made an offer for the company which lead to the strategic review, the question is anyone one else interested? What's gone before is irrelevant to the outcome of this offer. | activmojo
16/11/2019 22:53 | No..and not negative just realistic Is your inquiry over or will there be more questioning ? | ih_169538
16/11/2019 22:05 | @andycapped..you seem overly sensitive I asked the same contributor the same question on 3 occasions which is perfectly normal given that every post he makes is in the negative. | paul planet earth
16/11/2019 22:01 | Ih_169538..are you a retail shorter, shorting this share, this is the third time now? | paul planet earth
16/11/2019 21:10 | Btw PPE ( no Sherlock Holmes) if you click on 169538 it shows that is me Crunch55..its how ihub shows north American registered posters..look at other numbered posters as they have their board a avatars names as well.Case solved for you. | ih_169538
16/11/2019 21:05 | Hey Sherlock..I have only one handle..told you that before.Dont let facts get in the way when considering your investment..if you like to roll the dice then that's your choice.Just posting on why this won't return the losses for those who placed above 100P and asking why some proclaim the IP is so valuable if it hasn't been commercialized to date. | ih_169538
16/11/2019 20:03 | Seem to be accusing a lot of posters on here as being short on the company. Most are just longer term investors grown weary of broken deals or ex-investors who currently hold no position. Crunch is an investor in QMC a rival QD company which has also experienced some savage falls in its share price. | andycapped
16/11/2019 19:53 | Cruch55 and il_169538...are you a retail shorter I asked you that before and you did not reply and why the multiple user names? | paul planet earth
16/11/2019 19:49 | I've followed all the broadcasts since 2016, read the RNS's. I recall in the last interims one of the analysts asking when we might see a product on the shelves with Nanoco dots, stating 'it would be nice to see' incredibly politely. the response from the CEO was 'still live', but nothing more. So what have I missed? | andycapped |
