You are so consumed by your own self-righteous hatred that you think everyone who disagrees with you can't be legitimate and must be part of a conspiracy.

Instead of attacking me with multiple falsehoods concerning matters about which you have no knowledge why don’t you answer the serious question I posed?

I know why. Because criminals hide by trying to accuse others of their crimes and creating diversions. The true villains of the peace are you guys. I’m just a private investor who’s interested in his investment.

I’ve never attacked anyone the way I get attacked routinely here. It would be shocking if it were anywhere but in this dark recess of the internet where people can hide behind their made up identities.

Once again, instead of attacking me can anyone explain, in clear terms that make sense, why, if all the warnings I’ve read here about auditors unable to sign off the accounts and looming massive cash raises are to be taken seriously, Richard Griffiths and LOAM have been buying?

The Bagpuss's comment was reasonable and undeserving of veiled personal attack. You often provide useful information and deserve credit; then, you ruin the good you do by being so thin-skinned. We are all hoping that our investments pay off and are understandably chagrined when the Nanoco share price moves against us. Nanoco employees have invested their lives in the company and are certainly fighting to make it successful. Investors also have a right to demand success, since their money drives this company. Management needs to remember that most people tend to focus on the most recent event. Thus, Nanoco can make everyone happy by being successful. Nanoco simply needs to cross the goal line. Anything else is meaningless.

A few folk on these boards know all about creating angles if you ask me.

There are often many angles to make money in troubled times. Anyway I was trying to make a positive point that he surely must see some underpin on his purchase price. Remember he did sell out a while back after being involved with the company for many years so he doesn't believe in it blindly and must see a special situation

Obviously, Mr Griffiths doesn’t agree with you that this is a precarious time at all.

I wonder if Mr Griffiths has taken such a large stake at this precarious time because he knows for sure that there are firms out there that would buy the company at multiples of its current price.

It’s not automatic. I think it will depend on the relative merits of the cases for and against. Best to read all the documents submitted during the consultation to get a view.

Thanks. If not renewed then it looks like there is a 12 to 18m transition period?

If I understand this correctly it looks like the cadmium ban exemption stays in place until the commission decides on the application to extend it, which is currently taking 18-24 months from the start of the application.

The original exemption request letter was submitted in April 2018 so a decision this year seems possible. Also, looking back, the original evaluator's report was complete about 16 weeks after the consultation closed. The current consultation closed in May so, if it takes the same time, the new evaluation should be complete soon (although I do not know if it will be published before the commission's decision or if it will be confidential).

According to further research I’ve conducted NNCrystal seek an urgent injunction to immediately block Nanosys’s QD production.

““Patent Infringement Complaint Seeks Injunction Blocking Nanosys QD Production

Nanosys produces quantum-dot materials at its Silicon Valley facility using processes that infringe a 13-year-old patent on nanocrystal manufacturing, alleged technology developer NNCrystal US in a complaint (in Pacer) Monday in U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware. NNCrystal…”.

(The rest is behind a paywall)

3 months since the end of the exemption. Incredible to me that they are still prevaricating about this. Any thought on when we might hear from oeko. Is the exemption extended whilst they finalise the consultation

Lots of money being splashed on UK assets given the position with the pound.

Brian Tenner who appears very sensible took a bigger stake than the others when the directors bought in. Maybe Nano will live to fight another day.

Question. Is the price responding to his buy or is he responding to positive market soundings we aren’t yet party to?

Not suggesting inside deals, just better research than we have resources for.
