WS the exchange situation works with us when converting for profit. Power and transport are the big costs; they are working on both of those now.

LP... Agreed - good to see you're still here.

What ceaser also misses, is that Zimbabwe, where the main assets are, run their economy principally on U.S. Dollars... any strengthening of the currency increases costs - particularly if salaries are paid in U.S. dollars, and their principal commodity - GOLD - is an inverse relationship to the dollar

Nickel, being an industrial commodity - relies on industrial steel primarily for its price strength - or weakness, and as the world economy struggles, so will nickel.

As BNC plans to get involved in Platinum as well, China's smog, will drive Platinum/Palladium prices, - hopefully, (I also have a few shares in JLP a South African junior with upto 70million ounces of the stuff, so I am hoping they get their Clean Air Act together pretty soon...)

Nickel bear is relentless . Year low now despite some clowns here predicting telephone numbers since last summer. Hard to say where it will bottom but we need to look to gold for hope here - and in the PM sector generally

Mr. E G... sounds like my kinda plan...

As Mr Buffet is so fond of saying -

"BUY, when nobody else wants it, and sell when everyone does"
(or words to that effect)

I too have quietly added in recent weeks.

I've been adding. Am happy to wait for the commodities cycle to pick up. I mean there is no point buying at the peak is there ?
