21/12/2018 09:19 | Got a very nice Mulberry wallet for my birthday today :-) | sbs
11/12/2018 20:44 | I'd rather they kept the cash and will take the 0.05% dilution on the chin. | sbs
11/12/2018 13:50 | To make sure the strategic partner has skin in the game? But I would have much preferred the company buying the shares and giving to the partner instead of creating new ones, diluting our current holding... | galles
11/12/2018 13:13 | Wonder why they issued the 30k shares rather than pay the supplier? | clocktower
11/11/2018 08:37 | Seems to have settled down a bit now. Some two way trade now, with a few direct broker bids going through avoiding the wide spread. | sbs
21/9/2018 08:38 | Nice little bounce this morning there could be a lot more to come imo. DYOR The company valuation now makes it a target - the likes of Samsonite might see the same sort of opportunity as they did with Tumi. | clocktower
21/8/2018 09:02 | After the bounce I expect it to sink a little further as I cannot see any other major brand paying the companies current valuation, let alone a premium to take it out.DYOR Still others may take a different views.Good trading. | clocktower
21/8/2018 08:02 | Dead cat bounce time. | irenekent
20/8/2018 13:05 | That was Burberry Monty. | alex1621
20/8/2018 10:59 | Hope others made a few quid going short, when I posted the warning on Friday. | clocktower
20/8/2018 10:49 | Are they in Debenhams ? | montyhedge
20/8/2018 10:25 | (DEB) a much better recovery play imho Closest Dept Store to Bond Street Crossrail Station, Crossrail starts 08 December, Debs is 50m from Bond Street Station, huge game changer, even better if next door rivals HoF are turned into a Sports emporium etc | ny boy
20/8/2018 09:19 | The problem MUL faces in the UK is that it is a niche brand selling its quality leather handbags to respectable middle class women who only buy one good handbag. House of Fraser was the perfect outlet to target this sector of the market. Mike Ashley is likely to reposition HoF towards the more fashion conscious 'footballers' wives' crowd who have collections of handbags and spend money more often. I can see Mulberry being edged out in favour of brands like Fendi, Moschino etc along the lines of Flannels. | danny baker
20/8/2018 08:52 | Was this the company that was burning excess stock, now caught out here, management surely heads will roll. | montyhedge
17/8/2018 13:45 | Mulberry looks like it might take a fair sized hit from HoF. No wonder the share price has been dropping for a while. "Others are owed even more: Mulberry is out of pocket by £2.4m, while All Saints is owed close to £1.8m and Giorgio Armani almost £1.6m. Sports Direct is not legally obliged to pay suppliers money owed before its £90m buyout as their debts were part of the administration." | clocktower
26/7/2018 13:22 | This does be a bad share. Look at price. | volsung
13/7/2018 16:43 | What's Happened here to cause the price fall? | jbfnfn
13/6/2018 08:34 | "Retail like-for-like sales down 7% for the 10 weeks to 2 June reflecting International up 1% and UK down 9%, due to lower footfall and fewer tourists, as more widely reported" They seem to have glossed over the negative a bit. While Cash is up, the above statement is not. Covering the poor news with the joint venture news imo. | clocktower
03/6/2018 09:32 | Interesting that Burberry are looking to go the route that worked so badly for MUL. They are raising their price points to try and make their offering more exclusive. Can't see it working as they are still seen as a bit of a chavvy brand compared to MUL. Good news for us though. Probably why our price has started to lift albeit on relatively small volumes. | irenekent
06/5/2018 19:50 | What's Happened here to cause the price to rise? | jbfnfn
26/2/2018 16:34 | What's Happened here to cause the price fall? | irenekent
06/12/2017 08:45 | Overall, the figures are not that exciting but with overseas growth likely to grow with new agreements having been signed, the return to profitability maybe around the corner. Cash balance increasing underpins the performance and re-focusing of the brand with expansion of international business being the key. What is needed now is a good marketing strategy that gives it a more youthful image. | clocktower
14/6/2017 08:56 | A good result and looking good going forward with good on-line growth as well. It shows how a few good designs have such a positive effect on sales, the Zipped Bayswater being one of them. | clocktower
15/3/2017 15:47 | Must surely be gaining from the current exchange rate which in turn must be helping overseas sales. While it does seem overvalued any increase in profits could send this much higher I expect. | clocktower
01/2/2017 13:43 | Watch it does not bite you brownie69 but good luck as its run may well have run out of steam for the time being. | clocktower |
