Do you have the percentage for shorts on this? I'm not quite sure as to why people are so confident to short, except the funding requirement for the developments, but they now have the US$20m available. I think this one is not a sensible short as the trial results are now published - it isn't as though people are gambling that some bad trial results are about to be published. If you are short, you must believe the trial results as provided are not good, I consider that they are fine.

I've read the trial results, the presentations, listened to the CEO, believed his feedback from the ID community at the US conference, and I have bought more.

I've added more this afternoon. Yeah it's weak and being shorted but when it turns I would expect a lot of people will want to get in quick so I expect a lot of people are watching this now.

Downside from here maybe a few pence, upside on next bounce on chart 5-15p fair odds for me

Had the retracemeent ( 76.4% ) and wants to bounce back since yesterday. Order book still weak on the bid side, but buyers are already starting to nibble just over middle price. Analyst Alex Pye thinks they could be worth 125p.

Paratek in GBP mcap is £525million. I understand mtfb are now at the same level as paratek, ie awaiting Fda submission/approval for an antibiotic drug.
Mtfb just £130 mcap ...
MTFB should be worth 400% more and surely this has to nowl rerate back to a more realistic peer valuation.

Give the guy his due, he was correct and most on here were wrong and should have stop losses in place. Ok maybe his style is not that appealing but you cannot deny he called it.

Who knows how low it will go, there is nothing much to drive it forward until the New Year and the application for approval, extremely unlikely they will do any deal as they have funded elsewhere.
Better off to have sold and invested elsewhere for a while - just my view

What is the argument that iclaprim is going to fail from this point? Or that the total value of iclaprim is less than the £95m capitalisation of Motif Bio?
