Just having a look at this company.....

"..we have agreed with the current loan provider that the sale of the Motif Bio shares today will be the last until 15 January 2018.."

Does the above comment from AMP and the fact that FDA approval will not be applied for until Q1 2018 not mean there is little rush to buy more here until 2018 ?

I cannot see any other imminent drivers of share price increase ?

Happy to be corrected by long termers with a better understanding of the company.....

If you subscribe to the conspiracy theories about trading signals it might mean "bear raid at 3pm".Otherwise I would assume it is just some rounding activity to correct previous trades.

Hardly sufficient volume to move it either way, just drifting imo.

Recent legislation increased the admin burden if you hold above 25% of a co, so Invesco likely jettisoned a few simply to move from just above to just below that threshold.

With the large institutional buying over the last month I'm surprised this has been slipping. From what I've read this is still a ridiculous price for buying.

CEO on Vox markets says potential is huge. They have proved they have a quality product. Roll on the profits and the healthcare:)

They will fund raise in late q1 2018 most likely imo, if they do not raise cash from a ROW partnership deal(s) for Iclaprim, I reckon there is a 50% chance they will raise sufficient cash that way to either completely avoid, or drastically reduce the size of, another fundraising. The trial is over now so current cash burn will be significantly reduced. Though it will pick up again next year at some point.

Someone pointed out the other day on the LSE that Motif have access to about $1bn of already manufactured iclaprim (retail value).

They reported Cash balance: $18.1 M (Sept 22, 2017)which I think was about the same figure they reported as Total liabilities for 2016.

Well done longshanks, but I was looking at the long term aspect of small pharma punts, for instance I took on skp at 60p/share in 1998 and dumped them 2010 at 107.77/share however there'd been such a huge share consolidation that the number of shares I sold were down to just a fraction of the number purchased.

Fortuitously during the same term of years my main cash was in GSK & SHP.

That aside once again here I am trying to make something from a small pharma, hope we end up with a SHP equivalent one day :))

It's the main attraction of holding a few but there's companies like skp & oxb that have been around forever and yet the only folk that's really made anything from these type of companies are the Company directors.
