Tim if you genuinely think that then your completely clueless and should not invest in aim. This is everything a death spirall isnt.

This is excellent news loan secured against assets, shows the lenders faith in Iclaprims likely sucess. This also now gives motif the strongest hand when negitiating Licencing deals with Rest of world partners.

Anyone who seeks to spread negatives is either out wanting in or has a short.

Timw3. This is not death spiral finance. Hercules capital are specialists in debt finance for pharma companies. They have released 15 million immediately. That is not how death spiral companies work. They release small amounts at regular intervals shorting into the lending. This is totally different.

timw3_ Could be a problem if timelines slip substantially but not the usual "death spiral" of unlimited issue of shares at significant discount and then sold inot themarket driving share price down. (imo)

From my reading this looks good. I always look at debt finance for something dodgy but looks like Hercules Capital are genuine experts in the field. There is a very clear time scale here and motif are taking £15 million immediately as 2018 is THE massive year for them. Should mean the so recovers from here but being AIM. Who knows?!

Reasonable to conjecture that Merrill Lynch will have made the Hercules introduction. Hercules Tech MD Tom Harris is ex-Merrill. Merrill have recently bought a big stake in Motif, as we know.

It's tiny dilution as 1.5m shares Let's hope we can repay the loan or will lose most of our assets!! LolSector been weak but this stops holders selling in hope of some cheap equity 40p on the open and a rebound back to the highs of 52p over the next few weeks IMHO

Yes, no equity dilution. Does the warrant issued to Hercules involve slight dilution or am I reading that wrong? Small brain, can't work it out. Either way it provides a huge degree of leeway for the company to secure conditional commercial agreements for Iclaprim

I like the fact that Hercules is a specialist pharma financing entity so it's understanding of risk with companies like Motif will be top notch. It must be confident that Motif will secure FDA approval for Iclaprim

A huge vote of confidence in both the company and Iclaprim
