14/1/2005 20:43 | good thinking mike I think this one will be up to 1.40 soon . | peter001
14/1/2005 17:11 | No news is good news ? I don't mind talking to myself ! Interesting that the share price is creeping up this week. As there has been a directive to the retail sector that they must disclose bad trading news asap l can only assume that no early statement from Moss means the news is going to be good. Elementary my dear Watson. | mikepompeyfan
05/1/2005 22:24 | Share price down slightly today , no doubt due to Next's trading statement and general gloom in the sector. Fingers crossed Moss can escape the trend. The Sunday Times a week ago had Moss down as being capable of doing just that. I see last year's trading statement was 6th Feb. Probably be around the same time this year. | mikepompeyfan

15/12/2004 16:33 | tinker Same story as 'rumour of the day' in 'timesonline'. The price looks about right as a sighting shot ... my target for MOSB is 147p. I am not sure how much of this good news I can take (ok ... I do know ... a lot more). | alfwilson

15/12/2004 09:22 | From the Daily Mail and Express apparently: "Moss Bros (LSE: MOSB.L - news) is under the bid spotlight again after paper speculation that Karen Millen founder Kevin Stanford had been approached to sell his stake." Price alleged to be 150p. Could be interesting. | tinker

10/12/2004 18:01 | doq I spent my working life ... making things happen by brute force ... in my retirement I have learnt there is a better way. LOL ALF PS In any case it was all true. | alfwilson
10/12/2004 15:53 | Flattery Alf - but thanks anyway. However, this one does not appear to want to budge at the moment unlike a few others including DTG. RTD flying today! | doubleorquits
10/12/2004 13:11 | I give credit to DOQ for his original prompt about about price reactions related to promotions. 'Bargin' ... my gains have been more spectacular on DTG ... but listen to DOQ he has had even more successes over a longer period(he unlike me is really worth listening to). | alfwilson
09/12/2004 17:09 | Having said that, 2 x 100,000 buys today ... | bargain
09/12/2004 14:25 | Hi Alf ;0) | doubleorquits
09/12/2004 12:12 | alf and john thanks. Could well be possible explanation, had missed that but the trade volumes (on ADVFN) tend to indicate smaller buyers to date. Perhaps also they may be expected to have a better Xmas than some of the others on the High St.? Whatever, a penny a day keeps the losses at bay ... | bargain

This will mean Tracker Funds will need to reflect this change ...they will need to buy some shares before then? I offer this info as a possible answer to your question. LOL Alf | alfwilson |
