I sell a maximum of 30% of a core holding and that sale was well under 10%.

I've just sold a few MNDI and a few more SKG this morning over 28.90.

Longer term a decent hold as most won't want the added faffing about selling
and buying.

It's only fair though. In the UK we confiscated Russian assets when they had instigated sanctions against us following our illegal invasion of Iraq.....

Look what Putin has just done to Carlsberg and Danone. Mondi's Russian assets are now worth zero.

1 GBP off recent lows and for now at least back in the former trading zone,
as with SKG, the Mondi share price is batted around on risk on/off sentiment.

SI, what would you have them do? It's hardly a major drop requiring a no reason for..RNS

Telegraph ran an article yesterday on Putin clamping down on Western companies
disposing of their Russian businesses.

SC, this is not just Mondi, European pulp prices are plunging, it's sector wide
and in fact Mondi sells on a higher rating than SKG - is you account for Mondi's
lower gearing the rating is about the same.

SMDS update next week, so an important current sector read coming up.

Sector fall during the week on concerns around recession developing in some Eurozone countries, both MNDI and SKG with very large Europe exposure.

Exactly, this is the point I've made, how could they have repatriated significant
funds from Russia, if the transaction had completed. It was not going to complete
in any case, even my cat Gump knew that one.

The market has misread this, either by design or lack of understanding.

Justice, do MNDI even get to keep/extract the profits from the Russian business? I don't know how easy it is to move money in/out of Russia right now.

May do so above 1300. Will add more if it drops below 1200.
