12/6/2024 15:44 | A damascene experience then.Suddenly the markets are conscious of a significant discount to NAV.US inflation data helps i guess. It isn’t easy to know quite when the market will decide to appreciate such discounts. The Wall Street Journal has an article this week commenting that while the indices are relatively calm, this disguises sharp moves in individual stock prices. Its a lottery when stocks move like this but i’m happy to benefit.I’d be surprised if the NAV discount narrowed to less than 20-25% short term but that’s probably because i’m using a rear view mirror to guess what’s ahead! | steeplejack
12/6/2024 14:44 | Even if goes to 600p it will be still below 662 NAV | thunders

12/6/2024 14:37 | Looking likely to pop 400p. Will be big ups and downs I'm sure but perhaps the tide really is turning. | its the oxman
12/6/2024 11:33 | Yes, good news. If we have passed the low point of the valuation cycle and given the more positive outlook we could now continue to close the discount to nav. | its the oxman
12/6/2024 07:53 | Not that I'm complaining..... | peterrr3
12/6/2024 07:30 | This is going up on really thin trade, my guess is Blackrock. | peterrr3
12/6/2024 07:21 | Market likes the news. Forward statement very positive. | bigbigdave
12/6/2024 07:08 | To be honest a bit dissappointed as well but I think we've seen the bottom in VC investment. If what they say is correct EU is leading the way while US looses it's focus on innovation. Let's see what today brings. | johnrxx99
12/6/2024 06:48 | Only £100m to be realised in the next year and following the last few divestments likely at modest amounts above holding value. So won't really cover the wages bill. However Institutional investors will like the buy back.Bit disappointed but kind of expected it, especially with the prospect of the FSA casting an eye over the valuations. | peterrr3
12/6/2024 06:33 | £40m loss ! | mallorca 9
11/6/2024 19:53 | Having done a bit more homework this is LSE as a seed investor picking up the UK market segment that was being abandoned as loss making, so it won't be a complete write-off to both parties. Unless they can bring Shein on board for retail investors not really much on the horizon in volume, have to see how it fares in the US and Europe when they give that a go. | peterrr3
11/6/2024 15:23 | What it means valuation wise rather difficult to know until more details are out. | kooba

31/5/2024 08:54 | Studies show that stocks usually move strongly ahead of index inclusion but invariably weaken and give back some of the gains thereafter. | steeplejack
30/5/2024 17:44 | Nice move and big unwind on the index change..see if they hold up now the promotion made. | kooba

28/5/2024 19:18 | Perhaps helps explain some of the recent rise: Molten Ventures (UK, BY7QYJ5) will be added to the FTSE 250 Index and deleted from the FTSE SmallCap Index. All changes effective from 31 May 2024. | rambutan2

15/5/2024 08:45 | To be honest, I'm looking to see a 2 bagger in the next 2 years. It was over 11 quid twoandahalf years ago. I accept that the world has changed but people adapt and so will GROW. I'm probably too optimistic but you have to have a target: from 230p too 900p doesn't seem that imposible. DYOR | johnrxx99 |
