19/2/2024 22:56 | Hmm, as at 30/09/23, Graphcore was held at just £21m. Not that long ago I can remember it being at over £100m! Or was i dreaming? In any case, if there's a bit of a write up, if a sale happens, perhaps £25-£30m is possible. Which is better than a big fat zero, a destination not unfamiliar to many UK tech hardware plays. | rambutan2
19/2/2024 22:20 | Reports of Graphcore being up for sale, $500m being mentioned. GROW would certainly welcome a bit of cash, albeit at nothing like the valuation it once perched. | rambutan2

05/2/2024 09:44 | The perceived 'delay' in US interest rate reductions has taken the wind out GROWs sails. | steeplejack
02/2/2024 11:06 | Also Grow price follows NASDAQ | thunders
02/2/2024 10:35 | Yes interest rate is important for company like Grow | thunders
02/2/2024 10:11 | as we seem to be moving to a concensus on interest rate reductions and timings, now would look to be a good entry point into GROW. | melody9999
02/2/2024 10:00 | I've sold out. GLA | johnrxx99
02/2/2024 09:46 | I think I should let you know that GROW have removed their email address from Sharescope and Morningstar have still not accepted their listing details. I don't know whats going on but ..... | johnrxx99
01/2/2024 16:01 | Further sells disclosures now announced-73,457 sold by Baillie Gifford at 254.Hardly here nor there in the context of a holding of 15m of course.Just under 92000 sold by Coast Pensions around 234p but i suspect that maybe delayed reporting from yesterday.(Coast Pensions hold just over 5% of the equity).I suppose this selling by large holders could be triggered by the decision to pass on interest rate cuts both sides of the pond but its peculiar if not counter productive.Goodbody Securites could be long of around 177,000 shares from yesterday.I suppose this could be weighing on the price. | steeplejack
01/2/2024 13:40 | Goodbody stockbrokers bought 214,131 shares yesterday at prices between 238.6p to 256.6p and they then sold 37170 shares at 246 So they are now long of around 177,000.(NFU sold 16000 odd just to complicate things). So its a bit confusing because on balance we have more buys than sells to date but we will be getting further disclosures i presume. | steeplejack
31/1/2024 17:04 | A rather badly handled large sell order late in the day by the looks of reported trades. | steeplejack

23/1/2024 08:32 | And, on 17 Jan:- Forward Partners Group PLC - London-based early-stage technology-focused investor - Says nearly all shareholders vote in favour of takeover by Molten Ventures PLC on Wednesday at court and general meetings. In November, Molten Ventures agreed to buy Forward Partners, backed by the latter's largest shareholder asset manager BlackRock Inc. Tech-focused investor Molten said that under the terms of the acquisition, Forward Partners shareholders will receive one new Molten share for each nine shares in Forward Partners they hold. In turn, Molten's 279.6 pence closing price on Friday values Forward Partners at GBP41.4 million. Molten shareholders will own just over 91% of the enlarged firm. | johnrxx99
23/1/2024 08:21 | Interactive Invester have still not sorted out the problem of being able to trade GROW. What a shower. I am not going to use the phone because I'm paying them to provide a service and I'll hassle them and GROW until it's sorted. | johnrxx99

11/1/2024 07:50 | Many thanks. I've sent ii a copy. Also overseas so the number they give is NFG. | johnrxx99
11/1/2024 07:30 | Particularly like when they tell you there's no KIID available and they won't let you trade it, yet you already hold it in your a/c. But don't worry, you can pick up the phone and spend 5 minutes of your day instead. | spectoacc
11/1/2024 07:24 | No idea. It's incorporated in England and listed in London, so it's not an overseas stock as I understand it. I think it has a secondary listing in Dublin, but that doesn't negate the London listing. I've had idiot brokers refuse to trade stocks for spurious reasons before and this sounds like another case of that. You could try getting in touch with Molten and see if they can help: One of the reasons I've had brokers refuse to trade a stock is that some companies have to publish a KID or a KIID or something and the broker simply couldn't be bothered to find the document - I sent them a link and although they were rather snotty about it they eventually started trading the stock again. In case that's the issue, here's Molten's KID - | zangdook
11/1/2024 02:51 | Interactive Investor has told me this stock cannot be bought or sold unless they are given a phone call because it is missing essential documents for an oversea stock. Does anyone know what they are talking about? | johnrxx99
