01/2/2018 11:10 | Each to his/her own. Either MWG have good IP, a profitable breakthrough contract, and a bright future in a world screaming for water resources and treatment; or they are a tuppeny halfpenny outfit going nowhere. IMO you can either take your pennies off the table now, or wait a couple of years for the pounds, but wthdik. | dozey3
01/2/2018 08:15 | Whoops - Holdings RNS today shows that Miton sold 1.2m (25% of their holding) back on the 25th when the share price was c8p! Sure they will have sold a load more on Tuesday; as did I with my rather smaller holding...a classic "Sell the News" opportunity which turned a loss-maker into a quite reasonable turn. Will watch and wait for single figures before considering another foray. | skyship
01/2/2018 08:09 | But... with this being a 20mil contract over 2 years...surely they will get 10 mil or q portion this year? | babbler
31/1/2018 18:07 | Guys. MWG will be effectively the main contractor but will also provide the design and IP / technology. They will appoint a contractor in the conventional manner (in liasion with Northumbrian) to undertake the construction and upon completion NW will operate it. MWG do not need to fund it. As others have said here - MWG balance sheet has not been in issue with respect to this large contract. | norbert colon
31/1/2018 17:28 | It would have needed to raise anyway by mid year, might as well get it out the way of. | celeritas
31/1/2018 17:16 | There are a lot of institutions on board here, and a lot more funding option once you have a contract. I think this will also not be lost on GIB GOV, and would been part of the due dilligence, I work in public sector infrastructure project's and the financial governance and risk avoidance is primary reason it takes years to get these things of the ground. You can't just award a contract to anyone and hope they can find the money... Don't forget , it a joint project with NWG who are huge | urigem |
