31/1/2018 16:57 | If they needed funds for this project why were they awarded it in the first place, gib gov would not have given it to such a small company if there was a risk of them not being able to fund it, surely it is their technical skills, design etc. The construction work will be done by a third party and paid by gib | slicethepie
31/1/2018 16:47 | glen, its the unknown. A placing for Gibraltar probably will need to happen unless like I said some cash was paid upfront? I don't see a placing as a problem as its for growth but at what price. I can see the conversation in the boardroom. Right well done we have Gibralter contract, we just need the funds to get it on its way. Do we take on debt or place. I'd raise some debt with with the intention of placing once the share price is much higher to avoid unnecessary dilution. | celeritas
31/1/2018 16:26 | To anyone who is tipping a placing IF and this is a very big if there is one in the future it would need to be for a huge contract.Currently MWG has no debt and £1.5m cash.More contracts due this financial year.Good profit margin.Today was a natural retrace. The next few days should see it moving towards fair value.Imo | glenbo1
31/1/2018 16:00 | They sold a load before the RNs. Doh! Still... Explains the drop. Once they have gone it will rise back | babbler
31/1/2018 15:58 | to think it went to 18p yesterday | falia

31/1/2018 15:36 | Yes - just noticed that- wouldn't be suprised if they have cleared out yesterday - would make sense | urigem
31/1/2018 15:28 | talk about bad timing on that share sale that has been RNS'd.... | pugg1ey
31/1/2018 15:27 | Slice of the pie - that's interesting, where did you get that from? | urigem
31/1/2018 15:21 | I thought they got there costs refunded when the contract went live so surprised if they need to raise funds | slicethepie
31/1/2018 14:55 | This company appears way too cheap, bought more this afternoon. The Gib Gov have committed public ally to the contract, and it's going to mobilise pretty soon to complete for 2020. Obviously I'm new here, but appears that the hard works in R&D have been done/10's millions spent but only new shareholders will see the value, it's worth next to nothing at the moment, holders waited 4 years for 13p a share- pretty certain this will rerate significantly over the coming year. Bonkers AIM | urigem
31/1/2018 14:15 | Pugg - I’d say that’s a pretty good guess. | bumpa33
31/1/2018 14:14 | Mm’s haven’t manipulated anything here, the placing has been forward sold. If you knew what you were doing you wouldn’t come out with such tripe. | bumpa33
31/1/2018 14:11 | I can sell 50k online at 13p and somebody sells 22k at 12.75p ?? People have terrible brokers. Bit low to sell at as well | dave4545
31/1/2018 14:01 | Yep. It is guessing what the price agreed with the city spivs is. 10,000,000@12p would be my guess and a load of them have been flipped already. I am also assuming their revenues have jumped from signing this and the china deal. | pugg1ey
31/1/2018 13:46 | It needs to be laid out clearly as I guess most are expecting a raising now to fulfill obligations especially the Gibraltar contract which will need cash initially I'm sure. It could have had cash up front but that needs clearing up. | celeritas
31/1/2018 13:42 | I used to have some of these a few years back and they made me a few quid so maybe a soft spot for them still... From the half year report They burnt £1.8million 6 months until June but only burnt through £0.65million the previous 6 months, (so don't understand how that worked, looks like some tax rebate and other related income) the CEO 'quotes' A GBP1.75m share placing (GBP1.61m net of costs) was completed at 11p in May 2017 and was supported by management, new institutional shareholders and high net worth individuals. This, together with the GBP500k receivables facility in place since December 2016, gives us the resources to reach cash flow breakeven without compromising our investment plans. Cash at 30 June 2017 was GBP1.53m. Following the capital raise, cash has become much less of a constraint, however our focus on driving efficiencies in our operations and managing costs will continue as core elements of our strategy. not sure what to read into the words 'gives us the resources to reach cash flow breakeven without compromising our investment plans' | pugg1ey
31/1/2018 13:17 | Topped up. Mm’s manipulating the market to get hold of cheap shares. If nobody was selling they would get stuffed but the usual profit takers bailing out within 48 hours of an excellent RNS play into the mm’s hands. These will bounce back so any chance of topping up at this price has to be taken imho | cudmore
31/1/2018 13:15 | How much cash does mwg have. | celeritas
31/1/2018 12:00 | Annoumemt is also on Northumbien water website. | urigem
31/1/2018 11:27 | I make a note of posters who make good predictions so I'll keep your one on the file...for now;-) Interesting to see how it pans out here as for once got some spare cash (as the rest is tied up in CPX) | pugg1ey |
