Just the kind of small scale desalination plant that you would have thought MGW would be into - hotels by the sea doing their own desal ..

Very useful info in here on their AMBC technology and pilots - the concept is finally turning into reality - very encouraging:https://modernwater.com/pdf/180222%20WT_AMBC%20Article.pdf

Have any of the doom and gloomers ever let a contract before?

Have you ever heard of Collateral Warranties?

This isn’t a fly by night company and you’re being disrespectful to the people investing millions into the company as major financial backers.

You are also being disrespectful to the industry leaders who have joined the company.

But most of being disrespectful of people letting contracts to Modern Water, as if they write cheques for £20m without any due diligence. Naive!!

Are we all naive, then why are you still here??!!!

Whilst many of you are playing your small margins day by day, writing chat room rubbish in order to fill fear into poor unsuspecting genuine people’s heads that this is a duff buy. If you take some ‘stock’ for a minute and realise that if everyone stopped playing small gains...then when could all be in for a bigger one!!

The purchase of 50,000 at 10.975p just shown is mine.
I may well prove to be a sucker as Bookbroker suggests but I was lucky enough to sell shares in May at an average of 27p that I had bought at 6.25p in January and have since bought these back at about 12p.
I reckon that the share price is more likely to go up than down and will now await developments.

Done the costs already there, now up to Northumbrian, but until they see revenue where is the money coming from to fund the remainder of the business!

But MWG must have enough funding to cover all of its running costs to be awarded the contract otherwise the Gibraltar Government would be left in limbo.
(perhaps I'm just trying to convince myself here as everyone else sells!)

This should be known as the stock that keeps taking, that is ur money, suckers get pulled in on the rise, only to see their cash get swallowed up when it collapses, it does not have the funding in place down the line, needs an infusion of capital!

I have previously discussed with mgt a couple of years ago the issue of their funding / capitalisation status concerning the Gib contract and they confirmed it was not an issue. This has proven to be correct given they remained as preferred bidder and the early works have now been awarded to them. Also as I have stated before the Gib contract doesn't need any forward funding by MWG other than direct resource / time costs.

Thank you for drawing my attention to the announcement made in November about brine treatment in China. Forgive me for being so unobservant.

Thank you for answering my question

no I am not that person varies.

NC. Yes the cash position is what is causing the lack of buying. As I keep saying, why would they get the Gibraltar contract if they had not shown they had sufficient funding in place to do the project. I await the answer from MWG.

Cash position looking tight I expect.

Forgive me for asking but are you Pugugly with an amended name ? I have read Pugugly's postings on several threads for many years and respect them.

You posted a very interesting article on Oasys Water and Forward Osmosis on 21 December 2017.
I have just visited OW's web-site and find no recent news; this is typical of companies that fall on hard times. OW seems to be a private company and has presumably no obligation to broadcast its troubles.
Do you know of any further developments in OW's efforts to sell their FO expertise ?
The Chinese are notoriously inscrutable and seem to have led OW up the garden path to a barren conclusion. I wonder how much weight we should give to MWG's references to progress with their FO projects in China. I would love to think that a contract there will be announced any moment but doubt it !

No aquabat I never have ever used charts for my trades. My timing is down to 20 years of trading and fine tuning when to buy and sell judging on demand and overall markets.

Nov/Dec you would be looking for 20-50% on trades, now it's 5-10%, if you miss the low prices on a dip then not worth buying the stock and it reduces your potential trading profit to nothing.

Everybody has their own way of trading. I'm more of a dip/bottom fisher than a chaser of flying stocks. I like to buy stuff when nobody else is touching it. Worked the other day in MSYS in at 2.3p out at 3p and higher

"so illiquid"

Exactly, which makes them good to trade if you know when to enter and exit.

Been a great earner for me over the last 18 months this one has.

Better stocks to trade than this as so illiquid, unless there is an RNS.

Too right.

I'm not going to hide pug. When it's struggling I buy and when it jumps up I sell.

This market is hard work. A stock like this could stay in the same 12p range for months but also in that time you could get 5-10 5% trades.

I'm just doing what most do but at least I admit it.
