01/11/2021 09:39 | They are currently bidding for 1.2m online through HL, don’t see that very often. DC | daicaprice
01/11/2021 07:43 | I note that the rns is dated 29/10/21 I must have missed it. The rns is clearly a sensible announcement as until the law actually passes the terms of Any loan extension cannot be considered. | atlantic57
01/11/2021 07:38 | Link to telegram group in tweet for anyone interested. Will of course share info in both groups just like we do for SNG.https://twitter. | aimdetective
01/11/2021 07:23 | Thanks all for the below articles. I've posted them in the telegram group also. News this week I hope! | aimdetective
31/10/2021 15:35 | Presentation of results of attracting new investments Tomorrow Monday, November 1 at 10.30 am, the Minister of Finance Mr. Christos Staikouras , the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Apostolos Vesyropoulos and the General Secretary of Tax Policy and Public Property Mrs. Athena Kalyva will present the results from the implementation so far of the legal framework for providing tax incentives to attract new tax residents and investments in Greece. | waterloo01
31/10/2021 11:31 | I missed that article. Not like me to miss it! Seems the dev law that's back in Parliament Monday is part of the process but the main bit that we're interested in will follow shortly after, hopefully this week. | waterloo01
31/10/2021 11:14 | Ooh, 3 posts on a Sunday morning had me thinking Joanna Hart had updated her Midas Mail on Sunday tip, we live in hope. Good read though and let’s hope there has been some progress in the 10 weeks since. DC | daicaprice
31/10/2021 10:41 | Lets hope so rafboy, however the same could have been and was said about October and through no fault of the company nothing much was achieved, anything you expect will take a month normally extends into the following three! But the ducks are being lined up - a few more days/probably weeks, doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things - as long as the end result is the right one for all the shareholders. | wi1l
31/10/2021 09:41 | Not seen that so thank you. Does confirm things are moving at last, could be an exciting few weeks ahead. | rafboy
31/10/2021 08:56 | A little belatedly, I don't think its been posted, but apologies if it has: Minoan Group: In the final straight investment of 270 million. after 26 years The investment of Minoan Group Plc.,a British investor group listed on the London MARKET OF AIM, for the development of an area of 25,000 acres in Crete,is "raising the pace". This is a project that has received the green light of the Interministerial Committee for Strategic Investments, while the relevant Presidential Decree has been issued, which defines the urban planning terms of the property, located in Kavos Sidero of Faneromeni Bay in Sitia. Today, Minoan has come up with both the exact character of the band "Itanos Gaia", which it will develop, and the way it will be done. Specifically, after the pandemic, the company has chosen to develop fewer in number, but larger in number and higher luxury tourist villas, in order to meet the highest demand recorded in the international market, for residences of this character. After the pandemic, more and more buyers are looking for properties of a unique nature, which offer both a high degree of privacy and isolation, precisely to be easy to exploit in the midst of a pandemic. | wi1l
30/10/2021 12:00 | I certainly concur with your comments Nick. No one in business is going to sign anything without certainty , particularly in a place like Greece . I do hope that there is some new blood with a proven record joining the board . | atlantic57
30/10/2021 11:32 | Thanks for that Waterloo, it does look like it is the strategic investment law. As you say, the Company will know for sure. I'm not quite sure why anyone would conclude otherwise. It will all form part of the loan negotiations with DAGG who, inevitably, will want to see the bill enacted before dotted line signatures regarding the loan. Agree, atlantic, it would be ideal if Gilbert or, second best, one of the DAGG representatives join he board. That would boost the share price and investor confidence that a deal for the asset will be struck reasonably soon. | nick2412
30/10/2021 10:54 | atlantic, they do and I've asked the question. As for the rest, we'll find out, I assume early next week. | waterloo01
30/10/2021 10:47 | Surely if the Company claim that this law is integral to their current business plan they must have some high level contacts with the Greek legislature who can tell them when this is going through parliament. If we are saying that no one knows how on earth can Martin Gilbert evaluate his options with regards to his loan. If the Company have no idea at all when this actually become law then another roll over would appear to be the sensible option.Although things always take much longer than expected with Min other than the regular issue of shares. If the loan was partially converted or wholly converted in the current " limbo " it makes no sense as either the Conversion price will be to low or to high, given the material nature of this change. Finally those of you who are close to Ce really should be telling him to rephrase his comments. The Constant statements over the last 10 years have that the next x period will be the most exciting etc. have been extremely damaging. ideally Gilbert should come on the board. | atlantic57
30/10/2021 09:47 | Back on for Monday. Still need to get clarification if this includes the strategic investments law AGENDA OF THE PLENARY SESSION SESSION Monday, November 1, 2021 14:00 WEB SESSION Tuesday 2 November 2021 10:00 a.m. DRAFT LAWS DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT Only debate and vote on the principle, the articles and the whole of the draft law: other provisions of the Ministry of Development and Investment ". RAPPORTEURS : Efstratios (Stratos) Simopoulos and Stavros Arachovitis. | waterloo01
29/10/2021 17:44 | Markets still looking for the direction of travel. Hopefully that will be clearer next week, both wit the dev law and a company update re the loan. | waterloo01
29/10/2021 17:38 | Over 1 million net bought today yet there is no change in the price in the end. All very frustrating but next week should be news rich....hopefully! | nobbygnome
29/10/2021 16:53 | I must have been hallucinating 😀 I thought the share price had gone up… | atlantic57
29/10/2021 13:39 | Exactly my thought raft. I've added another 100k | aimdetective
29/10/2021 13:09 | Haha nobby brilliant! Mms out to Friday lunch as announcement dropped? | microscope
29/10/2021 13:07 | Bizarrely you can currently buy at 0.9p. I just sold 100k at 0.925 and bought them back at 0.9! | nobbygnome
29/10/2021 13:03 | So likely another rollover, probably in part because it's much more difficult to raise funds below par. And does anyone know for sure if the development law will be backdated to include contracts signed many years ago, such as our's? IE; 'new and existing' as opposed to just leases signed from the date of the law entering the statute book.In this country it would be unusual I think. Lease may not have started but the agreement is signed. It's not really enough to 'assume it does' or 'thinking it probably will'. | microscope |
