The MMs are bidding up for 500k stock and there are only 100k at the full offer so looking encouraging!

Well at least they are still breathing and the fact that talks with existing/new lenders have reached in-principle agreements for a financial restructuring is potentially a relief, though its nature will be vital to the future.

Clearly some talks are on the back burner and once again there will be a further period of 'nothingness', I suspect, until the Covid situation becomes clearer.

However, much ambiguity remains and I do find the use of English pretty lamentable. A rogue apostrophe might sound an irrelevance in the grand scheme, but when it is on a pivotal word such as "partner's", it's not great!

And we have another apparent contradiction "...steps taken both during the year and in subsequent months will lead to a further improvement in the results before the expected anchor joint ventures are agreed....."

Does he really mean "before"? Or should we be drawn to the going concern part which states "...Accordingly, the directors consider that they will conclude further Project joint venture agreements in the near term....".

Ironically 'near-term' was the exact phrase I questioned their use of yesterday in regard to the Zachary loan, and here it is again - in a vital part of the report too.

Obviously talks have slowed, as the report indicates, due to Covid, so for me it's anyone's guess whether we will see any progress to joint ventures in the next 12 months.

I'm guessing 'anchor' refers to bricks and mortar, but again it's fairly ambiguous.... though on a lighter note reminds me of the tweet about the 'tractors' moving in :).

Minoan-Speak' will, subject to terms with Zachary being agreed, continue a while yet it seems!

Not sure that's right. The last major one was at 2.75p which was above the share price at the time if I recall correctly

Why should things suddenly change now, new capital has always been bought in at less than market price? Presumably we could get a capital injection from our nebulous 'anchor developer'?

Not my reading at all fireplace. New lenders and investors suggests they will support the group rather than be a drag.

It's the suggestion that the loan would be at least in part be replaced for a debt for equity.

The way this is going zachary with its warrants and now, reading between the lines d4e for at least some of its loan will be taking the lion's share of the benefits should they ever arise.

Could have given this news months ago as basically nothing changed. Jam tomorrow. Again.

Oh, and the loan, well we're stilling trying to agree what level of dilution we are going to have to suffer to prevent the company from collapsing.

The cost of inventories remains at £46M in the Balance sheet - Still no impairment - auditors must be satisfied that the value of the project exceeds this figure. Quite a surprise with the market cap a tenth of this at £5M.

Inventories
Inventories represent the actual costs of goods and services directly attributable to the acquisition and development of the Project and are stated at the lower of cost and net realisable value.

Seems like progress on a number of fronts. Talk of anchor developers, new lenders/investors reach in principle, talks with Foundation and costs down with more to come.

Not the jam maybe today but still all to play for.

Post Balance Sheet Events

Since the year end, the Company, along with most others, has suffered from the effects of Covid-19 and the Lockdown. I have endeavoured to keep shareholders informed of progress through recent updates and I am pleased to say that we have now reached "in principle" agreements with both existing and new lenders/investors to replace the current finance arrangements. I will keep shareholders informed thereon as we move forward.

dai, I would hope that its omission (loan comment) from today's results implies that news on that front is close. Pity the same can't be said about the project with a serious recession now looming.

I hold and like most other investors I'd guess frustrated by the lack of transparency of the business of this company, the only thing that is blatantly obvious is the ineptitude of the management to achieve anything worthwhile except bolstering their personal wealth at the expense of shareholders.
