Would have thought that the exchange , if its going to happen, will be some time next week with the next 3 weeks going for the shareholder vote-my vote, at this point, need to see the detail, but fwiw is probably going to be a yes to the sale - would be interested to hear of others views though. Then the next piece of the Minoan puzzle, assuming shareholder approval, will be the loan repayment, coupled with the bod changes, I wonder who's going, there are quite a few past retirement age and will they bring in additional directors possibly from the interested party's side?? After that,raising enough funds to finance the CS development and then, finally getting the show on the road,paying the balance of the deposit to the monastary and then applying for the building permits (or have they done that already?) then starting phase 1 at Grandes Bay together with the golf course and golf complex. Moving swiftly on to hotels and apartments at White sands Bay, Crystal Cove and Porto Sidero, a mouth watering prospect, should they get to it. Its all quiet on that front but hopefully the bod have been peddling like mad under the surface and are all prepared for this final stage. Now whats that flying over there?? | wi1l | |

13/7/2018 10:05 | Justjill,imo it's the purchaser who's been the problem getting the financing, admittedly the BoDs should have walked away long ago but again imo the purchaser already as a position in MIN so they have given more leeway I also believe reading the RNS that is now all but sorted and will be completed before end of month,I'm also with you that re CS that we have more than one interested party but as had been said before I don't think they are interested until Travel side is sold and out of the way aimo of course but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's getting brighter. | scotty1 | |

Without being negative, and I don't think it will have happened, and on the contrary there maybe be more than one interested party. But if the so-called “credible party” had walked we would not necessarily have been told. Were we ever told Candia had walked away from their option to buy another chunk? Not that I remember, but it came out in the wash at the investor show (someone asked)that the option had lapsed. But as I say don’t believe any issues here now...…except management still need a rocket up the collective corporate derrières! | justjill | |

I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article. AIM-listed Greek resort hopeful Minoan (MIN) has announced yet another extension to its loan from Hillside. The terms are largely the same, but a further 1.7 million warrants at 6p are being issued, and the loan is now on demand, with a long-stop date of 31st August. This is in relation to the announcement last week that the sale of its travel and leisure business is on the way. With a long-stop date of 31st August, one might assume that at long last something is going to happen! Settling the debt from the T&L sale means that it will have to come after details of the proposed sale have been released, for the company has already told us that it will require a general meeting. With suitable notice periods for the GM, I would expect details of the sale to be released by around the end of this month. So this looks like very good news indeed, and I look forward to the news of the sale in due course. As to what comes after that, I can’t help thinking that further moves could be afoot. We already know that a “credible party” made an approach with a view to acquiring a significant stake in the Cavo Sidero project back in March. Despite a promise to provide shreholders with an update in due course, we’ve heard nothing on that since. I would suggest that if a potential deal was no longer on the table we would have been told by now, and that leaves me suspecting that there is still a potential deal on the table. What that deal may involve (or not) I don’t know, but my suspicion is that it is contingent on the sale of T&L. Since we have already been told the sale needs a general meeting, I wonder if the GM may have one or two further parts involving bringing in a partner – and we already know that management changes are planned post-sale from the FY17 results statement. We shall see…..but it could be more exciting than many fear. Overall, I remain optimistic that the end of my (and everyone else’s) frustrations may finally be closer than ever, and that a dramatic re-rate may be on the cards within weeks. 13/7/2018 08:47 | Looking at the bigger picture, I am aware that management perceive that there are some positive indicators suggesting that the Greek property market is turning upwards in a timely way. That obviously can only be helpful for Cave Sidero developments and getting a partner in at a decent valuation. Official stats in all sectors tend to lag behind what's happening at any given time and anyone based in Athens is going to have a good feel for current 'here and now' trends. | nick2412 | |

They have been around a long time, watched the value of their holdings fall, or had realised losses for whatever reason. Then as things are about to turn lots of new kids on the block show up and make loads of dosh from a low base. That's how I feel....but still want this to fly and soon. Basically the end date for the loan looks set and that clearly indicates much has happened behind the scenes that we haven't yet be told about. Not long to go. | justjill | |
