At the moment they own 95% of the project. Its up to an investor to buy a % from them as Scandia did, not just contribute to the build costs and collect the profit.

If you put in £50m you get what you build and a lease. MIN get a share of that revenue as and when, depending on if they are unit's for sale, lease, hotel revenues, golf revenues etc.

Edit: They do like a laugh though "The Shareholder Loyalty Scheme is being reviewed, stay tuned for more information…"

If I put 10 million into a project, I want a cut if it. It's not rocket science.

Colin, Re what you "term" as a few weeks, I agree.

But when you think a bit more. If the collective thinking/checking is accurate around here, then they have to give three weeks notice for the meeting. And the earlier RNS says meeting would take place after exchange. To me it actually implied same day(ish). Maybe morning exchange, afternoon meeting.

So, even if they were to announce the meeting tomorrow, that means it would be mid-August before meeting. And that would be more than SIX weeks since the RNS....closer to two-months in my book than a "few weeks". But then this BoD have never seemed to learn the link between promise/epectation and delivery and how it can be positive, or - as in their case - ususually very negative!

(And all happening in mid summer holidays.....odd that too, I think)

Anyway, I think I'll shut up for a while now.....it's going to happen just don't know the date. GLA!!!!!!!

Investors pay to buy in? lol

'Investors' will be putting up development money not money into MIN (and certainly not at this market cap). Let's hope it's not matching funds as 'we' don't have a proverbial pot

Shouldn't think they will have to give any of it away, verisonal. Investors should pay the co for a share. Once one does that the value of the site can be worked out rather than guessed at. Should be going up though with planning, property values advancing and tourist numbers increasing year on year.

"The Board expects that the Company will be in a position to exchange contracts in respect of the sale of STL in the next few weeks"...all depends on what you term as "few weeks" doesn't it? It's already been three...let's hope there's news by the end of July.

Well 50-80 million. And the big question then is what percentage of it will they have to 'give away' to potential investors? That will decide a realistic mid-term valuation while the building work goes on, rather than anything to do with the T+L sale

Yes take them out and the debt and you are left with just the asset being the CS site valued at up to £80m.

I did and hence why I edited the post! Although without all the overheads not related to T&L, it would look a great deal better.

Feels like being a contestant on 'Deal or no deal'. Is it the £250k or 1p box?

This is no way to run a business!

Yeah yesterday's gain washed away by the 25k sells. Should have a few buyers coming in again now....then we'll bounce up again....and then we'll bounce down again...then we'll bounce up again...bla bla bla.

My contribution about what should/could be built in CS: A psychiatric ward for MIN. Not for the dead-slow/stop dud management, but for the crazy shareholders who ever were naive enough to believe management promises about what they’d achieve in any reasonable time frame. Sorry, but it’s almost time for us to put our hands up too. We must be blooooooooming mad!

Glibgibon you don't know how near the truth you are with that, many many years ago CE idea was to actually retire in one of the propertys on the site.

I figured it out. They aren't going to build a holiday complex here - it's a retirement village!! Guess who the first residents are going to be? They played the long game and we bought it hook, line and sinker.

True justjill we need to see the sale before there's a real move north in the sp,so not much longer to wait there,as for the other half of your post, you have seen how old the CE and BC are they won't be getting involved in any other companies thank gawd.

Judging by some of their ages I should think this will be their final work before retirement. Might give them the incentive to finish on a good note with the CS project built and left in good hands managing it but we shall see soon which way the pendulum turns.

On the verge of such a critical point, yet so little faith apparently reflected in trading. Which is not surprising I guess.

Please do remind me NOT to buy any new shares in any companies these directors might later become involved with.
